I found an interesting site that lets you look up how your state ranks for health in the USA

http://healthyamericans.org

Just click on your state and you'll get lots of information on rankings percentages ect ......... If you want to find the exact ranking your state has been given click the link on the right hand side fo the page that says OBESITY and you will see where your state falls. Vermont is 46th in the nation.

I just noticed there is a lot of AIDS in Florida compared to Michigan (I used to live in Michigan).

I think Ohio ranks about 15th, but I think that last year Cleveland ranked #1 for cities. Even the skinny high school girls at the mall all have pudgy guts!

Good stuff, Oregon has the 30th highest rate of adult obesity. I'm working on lowering that.

My state (Louisiana) is rated the 4th most obese state.

This is no surprise - we're known for our "good" food. I admit, our "good" food tastes really, really good.

That was a fascinating site. Thanks for posting it. I'm in the 50th state ranked of 51 so Massachusetts is doing well (for whatever reason). There are issues though with "teens" being only 27th with the rest of New England doing much better. Well I'm trying to do my part to have 1 less obese person here in Mass. by eating well and drinking my water.
