      Re: Who is re.re.re.re.re.re.re.re.re. starting??

Hello ( ReReReGirls ) I have been off the board and off this way of life for almost a year!
It's not a pretty sight let me tell you. I would like to join. I am starting officially tomorrow on induction. I have for the last three days tried to get back the momentum I once had. I weighed at one point 160lbs ( * Good Times * ) now I currently weigh 235!!!! Yes 235, when I left I was about 199 or so that's a 35lb + GAIN!... But I am ready for this, I checked out OutbackJess she looks awesome!! I missed some old faces and I see a lot of new faces too. Hope to get to know everyone again.

          Re: Who is re.re.re.re.re.re.re.re.re. starting??

Today is day three for me and I can absolutely tell that I am in ketosis. Feeling great (no nap needed) and very little appetite. I had to force myself to have some lunch at 3:00 p.m. What a great feeling!

I may have also dropped a pound or so. I peeked a little at the scale...

              Re: Who is re.re.re.re.re.re.re.re.re. starting??

              Good morning all,

I'm back and ready to re-start tomorrow. I've been reading the posts for the past couple of weeks and debating on whether or not I should reveal myself. I'm so impressed with everyone's, it's truly motivating. Somewhere along I made a wrong turn and fell off the horse, but I'm back in the saddle again. This morning I weighed and measured myself. Boy was I in for a shock. I can no longer be delusional about my weight. I felt it, but there is nothing like seeing on that scale (up close and personal). I was successful before and I know that I can again. I really enjoyed being STACer and the support is absolutely phenomenal.

I wish everyone re-starting the best and I look forward to hearing from you all and seeing your progress. Maybe one day I will get the courage to post my before and after pictures.

I have too been trying to avoid reality ~ the reality of how overweight I have gotten. I have been successful before as well. You can do it! These guys are here to help not to judge you for falling off the wagon. WE MUST DO THIS. WE CAN and WILL DO THIS!

We have similar stats & goal -- should keep in touch and on the board!

I suppose I'm restarting as well. The last few months have been really stressfull. Mostly due to my mother's medical problems. She may or may not have ovarian cancer. The doctors actually argued about it. But she'll be having surgery in another month. And then 3 weeks ago she broke her foot, so I've been acting as her driver. I know I need to get back on the wagon.
                        Starting Over!

                          Good morning,

Yes, I do have my DANDR out and also shined! I have numerous pages marked and for the first time, really read the parts about maintenace and OWL. I used to think I just really need to know about Induction. Not true!

Day four for me and this morning, I did not see any measureable weight loss. Yesterday, I did, so I was a little discouraged, but I am fighting that feeling of doubt. I have reached goal on this wol once before. I can do it again. I made a month long commitment on the WOE and I vowed not to measure my success by pounds, so I will do so!

                            Re: Who is re.re.re.re.re.re.re.re.re. starting??

Well folks, I am day two into my second week of Induction. I lost 7lbs my first week, which is a pretty standard Induction Week 1 loss for me. I anticipate this week I'll either gain back a pound or lose - at most - 1 lb. Seems to be my pattern.

I'm doing well on a totally clean induction, but finding that while my appetite is basically gone, when I do have cravings, they're totally for carby things... like apple pancakes. I try to visualize my goal and refuse anything but success (anyone seen The Secret?), but its been hard not to rationalize quitting the way I've done so many times before. (ie. "I can do this by eating all those foods!" No, I can't. I've been trying forever and managed to gain 30lbs).

My birthday is on Friday. My birthday 'cake' will be cheesecake, and dinner will be induction friendly. I need to make this a lifestyle again, rather than a diet. My birthday is the first test.

                            How is everyone else doing?

I am day twelve and looking forward to day fourteen!

I am going to add some veggies and start working my way slowly up the rungs.

I too am a re starter to the 10th power!!!

I have decided to try again!! I know this is the way for me and I have been getting little hints by seeing advertisements all over the place about going back lo-carb.

But now my motivation is different, while I want to lose weight, my motivation has shifted to needing the energy to keep up with my pre-teen son, help my husband through school, and continue delivering on a VERY demanding job.

So if you don't mind I would like to add my updates to the board. I NEED the energy and would love the weight loss!!! My day 1 will begin tomorrow with my book fully polished and carried in my purse!!!!!
