    1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
    what the rungs mean to me:
    rung 1 - more veggies
    rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
    rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
    rung 4 - berries, melon
    rung 5 - wine -
    rung 6 - beans, hummus
    rung 7 - other fruits
    rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
    rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
    Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
    (on to pre-maintenance)

      I started on atkins in 1997, here it is 10 years later, and I still struggle with a clean induction. I am a carb addict. Its nice to post with fellow re-starters.

        Present and accounted for. Today is my 10th day of a 'Clean Induction.' I feel great and I'm looking forward to joining the ranks of our successsful STACers.

          Awesome!! I am on my final day of induction. Planning to move on to rung one. Looking for a little more variety in my meals as the extra veggies will provide. Lost only four pounds, but I am a slow loser...

            I have found that recommitting to Atkins every single day and for every single meal is much easier than restarting once I've gone off the wagon. For me it begins with a morning meditation and morning stretches. I've found with people who sustain this WOL, each person has their own tricks that work for them. My best wishes to you!

              My GAWD, haven't seen you in years. You and I started at the same time, years ago. I fell off the wagon twice and gained everything back, and have now come back with 2 different names.

                Good morning,

                Today is my 12th day on induction. It's raining here in New York and what a gloomy start. I'm getting ready to fix my breakfast and go shopping with my 6Teen year old daughter. I plan to keep it 'Clean'. The weekend is always the hardest, because I'm mostly outdoors, in malls and near nothing that resembles acceptable foods. My goal is to have a clean induction. Any suggestions? Hola!

                  it's my second day of induction, and i KNOW i will make the 14 days of induction

                    Today is my 15th day of a clean induction and I started 10,000 steps or more program called America on the Move and I did 16,780 steps. The program was introduced to my office and have three office buddies and we encourage each other. I looking forward to really kicking this WOL up a 'notch', you feel me.                       i guess i fit in this re.re.re. category somehow. i was successful on atkins for over a year (down 70 lbs - wohoo!) and although i'm pretty satisfied with my size and all, i'm still short about 10 lbs from goal. i got stuck back in february. i couldn't figure it out, i went months stuck. re-arranged, excercised more, u name it. i ended up off atkins, onto some clinical diet (which was extremely hard) and i was h u n g r y!!! it did me good for another 5 lbs, but i cant keep them off. i try to go come back to this WOL but i don't know what i'm doing wrong because i can't restart it. i put on a few lbs then i get scared and go back to like 1000 calories a day. is it normal to go up a few when you restart? is there some new rules i should be following at a much lower weight or BMI? too much fat? i'm confused, and i love this WOL, it's really something i can live with, but why won't it work anymore

                        Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am doing well this time...I started Last Wed. then had a small cheat Friday night so had to start over....so I am doing good now!!!!!
