Where are the veggies?! And did I notice whiskey? Not on induction. Also some folks say coffee can slow progress. I don't think you are eating enough. The high calorie count is coming mainly from meat. Eat more veggies with your meals and don't forget to drink your water and I think you should feel better and be stronger. Hope this helps. You'll get the hang of it before long.

Too little food, way to little veggies, too much processed meats (sausage, bacon, ham). Your latte has 8 carbs for 8 ounces, so I'm guessing there is bad stuff in there. No whisky on induction.

            Sunny!

                  Re: Re-starting, induction period

Hey Led, welcome, can you get a copy of the book, "Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution" and read it, it has the rules to induction and or go over to the induction forum, and read the rules for induction...this will help you get your carbs down and flipped your metabolism from fat storing to fat burning! That's called "lipolosysis" or ketosis...which is what Atkins is, a ketogenic diet....
The book and reading will set you on a very strong course to success!
