  • Yippee, 1 Week Down And 10lbs With It.

I know now the water was what I was always missing before. I would never keep track of it like I did the food. This time I have watched it much closer. When I feel hungry I drink water first, then eat if I still feel like it. I make sure to drink between 80 and 100 oz every day. I don't get nearly as drained all the time. I tried to drink a diet rite the other day, but it was too much sweet, and put the rest away. I get to start going to the gym again, since my son starts school tom. And I will have time to go between when I get out of work and he gets off the bus. So I get to go everyday . I haven't actually started working out, but I am moving constantly at work, and put away 2 trucks a week. I really think this site was something I was missing too. I can't wait to get home and see how everyone has been everyday.

Nice avatar! 10lbs in a week is awesome!!! Good for you. I am going to start going to the gym religiously too. I belong to mine at my work, however I don't go nearly as much as I should. There's no excuse, they're open until 2 AM and I'm usually done work around 11:30 PM, no excuses. But I find them. I know working out will be a huge boost to lose weight and tone-up.
    Best of luck!!!

WTG Mandilyn ~ Keep up the good work.

I have to agree with you on the water -- I can tell when I don't/didn't drink enough....the scales really show it !!

Gosh, Mandilyn and Lancelot's girl - you must be twins separated at birth! You guys look EXACTLY alike! <grin>

Seriously,Mand - congrats. You are doing great, and I'm so glad you are seeing results both on the tape measure and the scale! Good job on the water, too.

Congrats on the 10lbs. I know that feels great...Keep up the water intake and exercise routines that are sustainable and you will see another 10lbs plus go bye bye too.
Keep in mind, you are creating a way of living you can sustain....we get so darn excited when we see results that we add to our original plans and then burn out lingers out there or frustrations when the 2nd 10lbs don't come flying off like the first...
Keep lifestyle in mind, think long term, and sustaining and maintain a daily manageable way of this diet....that's the key to success!
