    (another note: my computer has been broken)

    I haven't posted in a few... but I'm HERE!! I'm alive and well...

    I didn't make it on American Idol, I choked and sang horribly - I was really nervous... but I'm going to prove to all of you guys that I DO SING WELL I'm going to be putting a clip of me singing the song I tried out with (singing it good this time) on my myspace page if anyone wants to hear it...

    But, yeah, I totally abandoned Atkins for 2 of the 4 days I was in Philadelphia, and I didn't beat myself up over it, as soon as I was back in Michigan I was back on Atkins... And I'm doing well on it...

    I haven't really been sticking to it the "correct" way, because I desperately need to go grocery shopping... but in the meantime, I'm down to 151.6lbs.!!!!

    And ecstatic about it.

    The last time I weighed this much I was in 11th grade. And the skinniest I ever got in highschool was 148lbs...

    So, if I drop 5 more lbs... scratch that. WHEN I drop 5 more lbs. I will officially weigh less than I did since 5th grade. And, I'm not stopping there.

    I need to see my son off to school tomorrow (HIS FIRST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN) and then I'm OFF TO THE MARKET! And, I'm getting my life together and organized, on a strict schedule (let's see how I do)...

    YAY ATKINS!!

    I'm sorry to hear about your try-out for American Idol, but at least you have a good sense of humor about it. You're doing fabulous so far, so don't fret about the few days off the plan while you were away. You'll get back into the swing of things.
    Hey, I sent 2 of my kids off to school two weeks ago. My eldest is in 1st grade and my middle one is in kindergarten. So far, so good. He says he enjoys it, he did go through preschool all of last year so he is accostomed to being away from home.
    Good luck with your son tomorrow, I hope all goes well!!!

      Sorry you didn't make Idol.. I would love to hear your song... I hear you on the school thing..except mine isn't going to kindergarten she is going to HIGH SCHOOL..and she has been homeschooled for the last 5 years..so I am a bit nervous But I do am going to start taking care of myself today.. I am just up 4lbs over my siggy so that is a good thing...

          I'm sorry you didn't make American Idol. Did you get to tryout for Simon, Paula, and Randy, or just the producers of the show?

            only the producer... I had the guy that did all the explaining for 3 hrs before the tryouts ... there were a bnch of no-name producers - I think I got nervous because I got one of the head honcos... oh well... next year I'll try again
