Hi guys!! My name is Ree and I'm ready to try atkins again. i have had success with this wol before, and i know it works. i started atkins in march of this year and lost about 17 pounds the first month. then i quit. i guess i just got cocky and thought i could "tweek" the wol to fit me. i now realize that this isn't possible. i kept saying all summer that i would "start back next week", but that never happened. well, the time has come. i weighed myself the other day and almost died. i've never weighed this much. i am very lucky that i have an amazing boyfriend who could care less about how much i weigh. he just wants me to be happy. my biggest pitfall is that i suffer from anxiety and high stress. this is when i usually turn to food. not this time!! on tuesday of next week i am buying my mom's treadmill from her!! i am especially motivated to exercise after watching "fat march" on abc. plus, the biggest loser starts next week and i am going to challenge myself along with the show. i deserve to do this for myself, and can't wait to start changing!!

Re: Let's Try This Again
The biggest loser is fun to watch!
Congratulations on starting over! Try to sign up for some challenges, exersize... mileage and abs and pushups... it's not too late to sign up... still early in the month! It's great fun and very motivating! That's great your boyfriend is supportive. don't forget to read and re-read the book to do it right and move up the rungs... that way you won't burn out ... You'll get lots of support here! Good luck!

Re: Let's Try This Again
Hey Ree, welcome to STAC, I am glad you are planning out your exercise, it's such a key part of the whole program...for me, exercise curbs my hunger sometimes...and I just love all the activity.74 8/1/06
