    Good afternoon everybody. Just getting a chance to sit down to the computer, been running kids around to sports all morning. Things are back on track, the scale is only up 4 oz. from the other night, so I'm moving forward.

    Happy Birthday Heidi-Since there is still a few hours before 5, why not try this. Eat all the legal food you want, don't even put the corn on your plate, once you feel satisfied, ask yourself again if you REALLY want the corn. If you do, than enjoy it, and don't feel guilty. Just get right back on plan with the next mouthful.

    Sheepie-That REALLY sucks about your liquid sweetener, if this isn't resolved soon, I wish you would tell us the retailer so we know who to avoid.

    Byker-Keep strong, I've been in your shoes before and know how easy it can be to forget to take care of yourself.

      1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
      what the rungs mean to me:
      rung 1 - more veggies
      rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
      rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
      rung 4 - berries, melon
      rung 5 - wine -
      rung 6 - beans, hummus
      rung 7 - other fruits
      rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
      rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
      Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
      (on to pre-maintenance)

        Good afternoon All,

        Went to the casino last night and stayed until it closed and still didn't win anything, but what did happen was a amazing for me. Normally whenever I go to the casino I have a couple of drinks and eat a heavy meal. I'm so proud of myself because I ate a legal meal before I left and only drank water the whole time I was out. When I got home I ate a legal snack. Slept in late and went to the supermarket this afternoon to re-up on some goodies . I'm determined to change.

          Hey everybody! I made it, it's all good! I love triathalons, and there are alot of overweight people there, I was amazed...I could never have done what I did at a heavier weight! I thnk I need to loose 10lbs to stream line my body as it is...
          but gosh it was something.....check out my journal in journal chats for the low down, I won't steal the show here on this thread!

                Congratulations Jess! Yeah! Whoo hoo!
                Checking in late, working right now, enjoying a little break.
                Had a great workout today... 2 mile c25k.., then slim n 6 video... it seems like the perfect plan for me right now... after a two day rest, I had tons of energy and really got in the groove with my wogging...
                did I tell you all about my hair cut yest at Paul Mitchell School? it was fun. There's a pic in my journal if you wanna see. I'm happy and had fun and that's all that matters.
                It got my mind off dd being far away.
