  • Roll Call Wed 9/12/07

    Good Morning Everyone. I thought I would do a Roll call this morning since I am up at this stupid hour. Why in the world the school system makes kids get up so early. I keep praying that Brittany will want to come back home to homeschooling. She is going to crash soon. Staying up to 11 and 11:30 to do homework and getting up at 5:30 every morning isn't going to work.

    That said...I am driving her to school and will hit the Y for my water aerobics class. It helps that she has to be there at 7:10 and my class starts at 8. If I have more energy in a little bit I might actually hit the weight machines before class. I haven't done that in a while. I always try to do 2 days of exercise no matter what. Most weeks I am getting in 3. I don't want to burn myself out but to get use to it.

    Good Morning! My food is planned for the day & my plan is to make it through the day & survive. Life has been bombarding me with lots of stuff & sometimes just getting through the day is a good thing. Have come close to having a core meltdown a few times... I'm very proud of myself as I haven't cheated at all.

    I'm going to weigh in on Friday instead of Monday 17th. Monday I'll be on a plane to Memphis to visit my DD. TOM is lurking so I don't expect much of a loss. I do have this incredible shrinking belly so I know I'll be down inches...I love those numbers!

        I am here. Hi I haven't decided on an exersize plan yet. I really hate to sweat. The last time I was on Atkins I tried yoga and Curves. I really was not impressed by either. I quit both after 6 months because I had so much joint pain. I tried walking but developed Plantar Fasciitis ( inflamation of the arch and heel) Believe me I have a million excuses not to exersize. I will try to change my attitude because I know it is good for me. I am just not there yet.

        This sure is a beautiful morning though. I got up and weighed myself. Since September 1 , I have lost 6 pounds. I am well on my way to a skinnier self.

          Good grief!! Your daughters school starts at 7.10am!!!!!
          It takes me all my time to get my daughter out of the door for school starting at 8.40am.

          Gave myself a moral booster today and wore some new clothes for work and thankfully at least 2 people noticed. My students are surprisingly noticing that ive lost weight too.

            Afternoon all. mommagoose I was identical to you when I first came back here. Believe me, the exercise bug in here is infectious and pretty soon you'll find yourself stepping out into the great unknown. I have faith!!

              I hate bathing suits but swiming is a great alternative. I have been wanting to join the water arobics class I have watched the people and it is quite intensive. I plan on joining next week. I go to the local YMCA, it is cheap and not filled with Bimbos and Studs- they all go to the high end clubs around town.

                Find you a pool and do some water aerobics. I LOVE IT.. I have major Plantar Fascitis and even had surgery and this is the only exercise I can do.

                  Yes isn't that a crazy hour...and they wonder why the teenagers are falling asleep in class. I actually had to pick mine up from school today cause she wasn't feeling well...

                      Hi All,

                      Haven't posted in a few days, been really busy. Doing spring cleaning (finally). I am officially off Induction for the first time every on this woe. I am actually taking the steps and doing owl. Official weigh in on monday was 190. 15lb induction weight loss. I start working out with my personal trainer tomorrow. I'm excited and nervous. I've had a trainer before, but that was nine years ago when I got married. I have a job interview on friday that I'm excited about. I hope I get it. Right now I have to get my 6 year old up at 5 am so I can get him to daycare. If I get this, it would be a lot easier. Well, have a great rest of the day all.
