    Good morning STACers. Today is a mixture of things that have to be done, and pushing myself through them. We all get those places happening in our lives huh???
    Staying the course on a daily basis is tough. I realized that exercise releases endorphines and those endorphines truly are a happy pill for me... When I don't have them, I struggle emotionally. Believe it or not, I struggle when I've had to take a rest day to heal...

    Today I am going to jog and enjoy a 2 miler! or I might go to the park and do a brick workout, run and then bike! We shall see, but for certain when i am done, I will just feel soooooo good about myself!

    Well have a GREAT run then! I totally overexerted myself through work and not getting to bed early enough so I took this morning off. I will probably do some elliptical tonight though! I had not run is so many years, and now I feel those endorphins kicking in after the first 2 minutes...I am so happy about that...the only thing that bugs me is the idiots at the gym...there are 3 guys there that come "look" at me run...I know I already ranted about this, but they did it again yesterday and I am not a happy camper ...how adolescent can you be?

    Anywho...have a GREAT day everyone!

      Hey, guys! My first roll call since coming back. I was good for breakfast. Packed a big salad for lunch with some grilled chicken and dill pickles.

      Will walk this afternoon - supposed to be beautiful here!

        Good morning!

        Man, I know what you mean about those endorphins. Today is a complete rest day for me, and I'm already saying to myself "well, maybe I could fit in a trip to the gym before dinner", which is INSANE since I am making a huge family dinner for the start of the high holy days.

        I woke up this morning thinking about a question of mine from another roll call that hasn't been answered. Maybe you guys can give me some thoughts. Before I ask it again, let me tell you that so far, it's not annoying me (much), and certainly not influencing my commitment - more like an interesting fact to look at and ponder.

        So here's the deal: I've lost 20 lbs. I run 3 times a week and work out 3-4. But I've lost VERY few inches, and my clothes are only SLIGHTLY looser - not noticeable, really. There's just no difference when you look at me. I kid you not. Granted, I FEEL ever so much better, and I'm thrilled with my progress and how I feel. But no physical change? Why?

          Morning STACers. Have fun with that run Jess--brick workout huh??? Sounds heavy! lol.

          Sorry to hear about those jerks at the gym guekjian. That's a huge reason why I am so intimidated to actually go to one!! People like that just burn me up. I'd probably just stop running and turn on them to ask if there was a problem in a clear LOUD voice. That'd most likely keep them from making things so obvious when they are looking at you. I'd also make sure I park as close to the gym as possible and always within view of everything--just in case. Stay safe!

          Welcome back cheribaby! It's good to see some new "faces" in the roll call.

          Poor evermind. I know what is going on with you. You are an exercising machine and all that extra stuff is turning into muscle!! Muscle weighs more than fat and takes up the same amount of space--relatively speaking. So it makes complete sense that you'd be staying the same or thereabouts because you are getting in so much great exercise! You are getting healthier and I'll bet that you are feeling stronger and have more endurance---it's because your muscles are getting larger and more efficient! You're doing great, don't let something as wonderful as a whole body transformation get you down. Keep at it!

                GRRRR...ok had my whole post ready to submit and hit a wrong key and it all disappeared!!!!

                So, now this one is going to be considerably shorter.

                Lost a 1lb after going thru he** in the no weigh challenge. I'm not meant not to weigh daily...its my indicator. Anyway...phew that is over and I'm happy with the loss.

                I have 14 more pounds to go til my goal but as I said in a previous post somewhere I'm trying not to define myself as a weight or even a size but it will just be a feeling.

                Its slow going these last few pounds!

                I know I've been eating too many almonds. Julie posted that Chili Lime Black Diamond almonds were so good so I had to buy some and of course I ate more than I should have...bad bad. They are so darned addicting! Thanks Julie!!

                Anyway, I posted more before but I just can't redo it all...sheesh.

                    I am down 2#'s this am. Yeah for me!

                    Evermind- I bet your body is changing- you just can't see it and you clothes are slightly looser- but underneath your body is much firmer. Muscle weighs more than fat- it is a fact. They say that fat goes like snow. I live where it snows a lot- every spring I watch it disappear. At first you think it will never go away- but the mounds keep melting little by little and then BANG it's gone

                    Keep on Keeping on. It will happen because you are making it happen.

                          Good morning...well, I believe i have taken Sweet pound and put it on my body...i'm up a pound from the weight no way challenge...funny i actually thought i had lost about 2 hmmm, well i'm hoping it's muscle from softball...let's hope.
