  • Seriously now.

I'm doing well on my first day (seriously this time I SWEAR) back on induction.

I had an omelette for breakfast... homemade atkins-friendly chili for lunch... and I have no desire to eat carbs today. It's probably been about 4 or 5 months since I've done Atkins the "Right" way. I've gone off it at least one day a week for the past months.

It's time to get serious. I don't like my body at this point, granted it is a lot better than it was... but the other day at Target trying to find a shirt so I could go to dinner without having to wear my work shirt (a last minute dinner) I started bawling because nothing looked flattering. I looked like a loose blubbering blob in everything...

    Enough is enough.

I'm back and doing great so far today

      Re: Seriously now.

I haven't tested my ketosis yet (in 2 more days i will), I ate atkins-friendly food all day, but I did give into temptation with sugar free candy when I got home... but at least it wasn't real candy...

      I've been posting more often

And, I've written down a few recipes, but haven't gone to the store to get the ingredients yet. BUT I WILL

How bout exercise, you know exercise has a natural appetite surpressant in it! Exercise does more than we think! I releases endorphines, it rev's up the metabolism for hours to come, it really does surpress appetite!!!!
Going out and taking a walk, can make a huge difference when you are still working out stopping the cravings and reaching for foods....

          Re: Seriously now.

I'm horrible when it comes to exercise, plus at work I'm constantly moving, not a day goes by that I don't break a sweat for about 20 minutes straight... but I know I need to get my exercise up.
I really need to... I think I'm gonna start doing my FIRM videos again...

              Heidi is right.

Throw out all of the bad stuff, including sugar-free candy. You want sweets? Make your own.

Go shopping and stock up on everything you need for a week. EVERYTHING. Including what you need to try those new recipes.

Have at least 4 different things you can eat at a moment's notice. And try to cook a few things in advance.

And schedule time to exercise. If you find that you crave candy in the late afternoon, at home, then that is when you do your workout, girl.

You are harming your body by this yo-yoing. We're here to help you just yo!
