    Wohoo! I actually got to start one!!

    I have a great feeling about today... I woke up early and worked out, on one hand it was only 10 minutes of core pilates, but I feel awesome for finally getting the ball rolling!!!

    And then, I went to wake up my son to start getting ready for school, and he's not what I would refer to as a "morning person" but this morning, after I finished my pilates, I went in to wake him up with a silly song and he woke up laughing. It was precious, and then there was a tickle-fest... Ah, good times.

    Feeling good, motivated to take on anything today.

    And I'm just gonna sprinkle this sunshine your way guys:

    plsmachic what a cheerful way to start the day!!!!! Thank-you for your upbeat post this morning! I'm so glad you had an awesome start to your day! My little man is NOT a morning person either maybe I will wake him with a silly song and see if I get the results you did!!!!!

    Busy day here in Vermont today not much to report just same old same old! Life is good!!!!!!

      Aw.........what a great start to your day! Thanks for that, Pls!

      So last night was Open House at my school. which meant we didn't get home until 8:00 - ish, and I only snacked between lunch and then. Not bad, no cravings, not hungry, etc. Made dinner when I got home (just eggs and cauliflower, nothing special) and went to bed.

      Today is a better day, because I don't have class in the evening (I do sometimes on Thursdays) and I can exercise. I haven't been able to for the past 2 days, and I've missed it.

      We're expecting a big storm here itoday and tomorrow, so I don't know about being able to run, which is a bummer, but I will definately get some gym time in.

      So, plugging along, here. Waiting for TOM, which is very late (no worries, though). And continuing to feel good, good, good!

        Good Morning, starting to get over this cold or whatever it is. sooooooooo glad Planning B/D dinner for family this weekend, that should be fun fun fun. Its always a hoot when they all come over (have 4 kids) for dinner + their spouses/bf/gf.

            Thanks bunches for the sprinkle of sunshine. We have plenty of the real thing here, but I could sure use the emotional ones. I'm so tired. Got overnight duty at the hospital tonight after I put in my 10 hour day at work. Yawn. But Mom is doing much better, got moved to general care and may be released tomorrow or Saturday. Then comes chemo and radiation.

            However, I got my gym in last night. Slept hard. Got up and found myself a pound down. I know I'm not supposed to weigh every day, but I'm a bit obsessive compulsive about it...but I don't let a pound up discourage me anymore. If anything, it motivates me to try harder...drink more water, skip that second sugar-free popcicle. But I'm down a pound but won't report until Monday since Monday's are my official update the ticker days.

            Feeling positive, even if I am feeling drained. At least I'm back on track at the gym. That's seems to be the most important thing to me on this WOL. I MUST maintain my gym schedule!

                  Good morning. We went to a daycare open house last night and didn't get home until about 9pm! Very cute to see the 2 yr olds sing.

                  Today is my 6mo Atkins anniversary! Not sure what I want to write. I wish I had lost 60lbs. I wish I had lost 50lbs. 40+lbs is okay and it's better than not losing it, but I am disappointed that it's not more. I know some people probably think less of me because I was unfaithful on vacation (but not too bad) for a week, but otherwise, I've been very good. No other cheats except for quanity...like too many almonds. I haven't been particularly tempted to cheat and staying with it has been pretty easy. I expect to still be here 6mo from now. So, I'm still chugging along...

                    Happy Thursday STAC'ers.

                    I also awoke to a good mood. I am not a morning person, but have always dreamed of being one.... LOL

                    I am not sure what is on the agenda today as far as exercize. It has been raining pretty bad and today is my outdoor day. If it is pooring I will go to the Y and bring my flippers for the pool and sauna.

                    I think you are doing fantastic. I hope in that 6 months I can say I have been as good as you. It looks like you have effectively changed your lifestyle to this WOL and that is what is important, not how much you lost in so many months.

                      Hello ! It is a beautiful day isn't it. I crawled out of bed this morning and the world was covered in a blanket of fog but now the fog has lifted and the sunshine is just beautiful.

                      Last night at work I struggled to stay on the diet. I could hear those vending machines calling my name. Fortunately they do sell an almond and peanut mix which I bought instead of the snickers bar.

                      I have lost 12 pounds since September 3. I am very pleased. Next Friday I go back to my doctor to weigh in . I am hoping I will have lost 15 pounds. That should make both me and my doctor very happy. I am going to stay on induction until I lose an additional 15 pounds only because last time as soon as I stopped induction , I began to regain all the weight I lost. I may be one of those people who needs to stay on induction perminently.

                      I notice that if I go more then 4 hours without eating I get weak. Do I need more carbs because my blood sugar is too low? This happens at work. My legs cramp and I can hardly do my job. I drink all the water I can but I am very strict on my carb intake. What do you think I should do?

                        I here again! Two days in a row, YEAH!!

                        It's rainy here but I love it. We had such a brutally hot summer I'm ready for fall and winter.

                        The cool weather has me pumped.

                            Linda...are you taking a potassium supplement...I have too or I get severe leg cramps at night. Also eating every 3-4 hrs is wise. When I feel a sinking spell..I grab Jello and whipped cream. Or to really do the trick I eat a little peanut butter spoon. Just be sure and eat some sort of protein..often!
