  • Here I go again...

I am restarting today. I thought I was going to start on the 17th but I do great until the weekends. I also need to cut out the alcohol, hence
bad choices over the weekend! So, I went today and bought a little pocket spiral that I can keep in my purse and I will journal all of my food and activity. This is a way to keep accountable to myself, since I am the only person I am letting down.

So, here I go again. I WILL do this.

    Good Luck Lisa.

I keep my food journal in a small spiral (I actually an have the old weight watchers spiral and it is perfect).

    Peace,

hey jitterbug welcome back and I hope for a very strong week for you....do everything you can to avoid that alcohol that brings you down. I know about that stuff, you can't diet and stay strong once you let that happen. You might even have to steer clear of the friends and the party scene's I know I did. Love em to death, but I could not resist a couple of cold beers and all the trimmings that go along with that....
I just went under the radar for a while, and frankly there are certain friends and location I can't put together and survive, but I KNOW THIS NOW, and have not sacrificed the momentary pleasures for the really deep need to be sugar free....
The great feelings you have are worth the "momentary" feelings you can drink. You can wake up happy and energized all the time, if you stay low carb, once the body breaks free into the ketosis state and starts burning fat for fuel, it's gonna be worth it!

Thank you Julie! You are doing an awesome job I see!

(((Jess)))) What an empowering post. Thank you. I will
refer to it often. Appreciate you taking the time to
write it. Your success at this is motivating as well,
        you look incredible.

Have done great today and I think once I get thru
the next 2 weeks it will all be down hill.

        Thanks again.

Hello jitterbug! I've dealt with the same problem (which is why I restarted for about the millionth time this year on 9/11/07!). Once I've got an even tiny buzz going Atkins is out the window for me.

Jess gave you great advice, try to avoid the bar/party scene for awhile. I know that's helped me be successful so far. Post often, it's also helpful in staying on track. Good luck!
