Hey my Derby buds!! I'm doing better today. Thank you all for never giving up on me and checking up on me.

We had the bad winds (near tornado here) earlier this week. The main road to my house has been closed off for two days so getting to and from work has been a pain. Winds were 70 mph and scared the crap out of me. I do not want to experience anything like that again EVER!! There were fires in some parts. Power lines were spliced and laying on the roads. Traffics lights were down. Big trees were turned over. I'm so glad I only have a row of small pine trees beside my house. Then it turned around and rained and rained and then it snowed (not much). It's just the freakiest weather. Today was 38 but tomorrow is supposed to be 50. What gives?

Sherri, Catherine and Tracey, I hope you can make it out of the snow. I hope Sunny is ok.

I'm about to head to bed....so tired!! I will catch you fine Derby Girls later!!

      - After work snack was 3 celery stalks dipped in a lil peanut butter

For dinner I'm thinking sauteed mushrooms, onions and peppers with fried Steak Umms... not sure yet...

Funny thing is, I am almost done with Day 7 of my Re-Induction, and my appetite has suppressed. Not sure if it's really my appetite being suppressed of if it's a mental thing, like I'm trying to block it out, because it's only been a week...
      Hello Sher,
Your menu looks great! Although, are you a sure you want to eat the lil peanut butter while on extended induction? You may want to wait for Rung 3 Seeds & Nuts for that. It's really important to have a clean induction. Meaning the only thing on Induction is induction friendly foods.
MMMM! sauted mushrooms, onions, peppers and steak. One of my favorite meals. So Goood!
Wishing you a great Low Carb evening Derby Sister.

I wish I could tone those babies up. I started at a 42F and now I'm a 40F. The band width decreased but the cup size stayed the same. I used to be a 38C before I got pregnant and I weighed more than I do now. That was the perfect size for me.

Thanks for the tip... I'm taking my DANDR with me to work tomorrow to re-read some important parts on my lunch hour. For dinner, I ended up taking REAL steak out of the freezer for my stir fry instead of steakumms... Thanks for the support and comments!!!!! Love you guys already!!!

PS - Should I weigh in tomorrow after 1 full week or should I wait until my 14 days is over?

              Good Evening Derby Sisters,
Kass, WOOT! WOOT! on the 179 That a girl! That's a feel good! Yes, I bought the crab Monday and it's all gone, LOL I finished the rest for lunch today with 1/2 of an avacodo. Gotta love those MUFAS (monounsaturated fats)
Lashon, I'm with Cat on the L-Glutamine. I'm a true believer in it. I've been taking it for 4 years as needed. I use to have a visit from the Hunger Munster craving sweets. L-Glutamine took care of those evil cravings quick. You're allowed to taked up to 3000 MG a day. 2 before each meal. I took 2 with my evening meal because I would have my cravings at night. If you have cravings earlier in the day then take them then.
Cat, Thank you for your encouraging words hon. I'm so glad you weathered that devistating storm. You were all in my prayers. I understand about feeding your emotions with food. I was an emotional eater myself. It's part of the transition to a healthier lifestyle to not feed your emotions. You've come so far hon. Keep on keeping on. You're doing fantastic Cat.
Lisa, Prayers sent you way hon. What is fear? Fear of the unknown. Once you see what's going on with you at the doctors, you'll be able to get it treated and get healed. Gain strength from the knowlege you will learn throughout this part of your journey. You'll be stronger and healthier for it. Good for you making hubbys appt. with yours. You can support one another.
Tracey, Wow, sounds like you got the storm that left here. Shoveling snow is such great exercise. You use every muscle in your body. My snow is melting. It rained today and is expected to rain more tomorrow. 50 degree weather is headed my way for this coming week. Bye, Bye snow
Hello to Sunny, Marty, Catherine, Tashas, Bekka, Glenda, Prya, Kathy, Dorothy, and Sweets. Where you girls at? I hope all is well with all of you.
I had a wonderful day. Today is 18 days cheat free days. 3 meals a day nothing to eat in between meals or after 5 p.m. Day 9 for no eggs for breakfast. I'm really enjoying vegetables or hot flaxmeal cereal in the morning.
              Todays menu-
Breakfast- Hot Flaxmeal cereal, decaf, water
Lunch- Fresh crab w/ garlic butter, 1/2 avacado, water
Dinner- Speghetti squash, parmesian meatballs w/ organic roasted tomatoes. salad w/ Blue ch, water
I'm not going to be weighing for a while. TOM is going to be showing his ugly face and I stay off the scale untill he's gone for a few days.
My energy is slowly but surely coming back. The new dose of synthroid seems to be starting to kick in.
My 13 year old DD Sierra is doing this WOE with me and had been off plan for a while. She started back up Sunday and has lost 8 pounds already. I'm so proud of her taking control and making healthy choices. I'm now going to make her dessert tonite which will be an Atkins friendly 3 minute chocolate cake with low carb chocolate frosting. It's a single serving made with almond flour. I have to be on the nut Rung to have it. I'll just be savoring the moment as I'm serving it to her tonite.
Wishing ALL of my Derby Sisters a relaxing evening. See you all tomorrow, Sweet dreams.
              Love ya, Sherri

Thanks to all of you for the advice on the L-Glutamine. I am going to get me some tomorrow because these cravings are making me miserable . My cravings occur in the evening. I am fine during the day. So thanks again. I will have to check with my doctor to make sure it does interact with the medicine I am temporarily taking.

Now as far as the breast size CAN YOU SAY THE "C" FAMILY..... PLEASE..lol I would like to wear a 38C. I was in the "B" family for the longest and skipped all over C and went right to "D" then "DD". I am a 40-42DD now and they are so heavy.

Actually i have not had pain yesterday or today, it comes and goes but still i know i have a cyst there. Also i think i need to get my thryoid checked, as they told me i had hoshitos in june which basically means my immune system is attacking my thyroid, so eventually i will have to be put on meds, that might be why i go from high and lows with my energy, because of my thyroid, its all over the place. Im not going to lie im scared to death of going to the doctor, i use to run when i thought something was wrong but im scared of bad news, i mean i get anxiety and all over going to the doctor. So im just waiting on them to call me back with a date that i can come in and when i get that date i will let you all know so you all can say a prayer for my sanity lol. Im going to make one for my hubby the same day so he will at least be there with me for support, he needs a physical as well. I really got to take better care of myself and i know this is a step towards better health to know exactly what im up against. Ok just wanted to post that as my stomach already has butterflies in it and i have not even got the date of the appt yet.
Lisa, I am so proud of you for taking that step and making a doctor's appt. I look forward to hearing how it goes. I am praying for you.

Aww, Lashon I feel your pain dear. You see, when I was at my heaviest my breast size was 56 G. After losing 155 pounds, I'm a 42 DD.
Also we have the evening cravings in common. I can go all day on plan and , Boy, when the sun goes down it seems like everything is open game and it's grazing time I've finally got a handle on it, 18 days now. The L-Glutamine is the way to go.

Eventhough I did workout, the craving-grimbling got the best of me last night and I cheated AGAIN. I am so embarassed and disappointed in myself . I didn't want to admit it but I have to. I can't lie to you all and most of all to myself. No, I am not making excuses or taking this WOE lightly but I'm in a BATTLE. My first two weeks in this WOE were not hard at all other than the first few days and I lost 18 lbs, now I am struggling in the evenings with the cravings so badly until it is disheartening. Again, I will NOT QUIT, but press pass this stage, as I have not been here before. I know if you all have overcame it and lost hundreds of pounds, so will I. Thanks for your support DG.

Good Morning Ladies!!! Lashon i know exactly how you are feeling, im only into day 4 of being cheat free because i always end up doing that to myself. I think its just a vicious cycle i know for me the evenings or nights are the hardest to get through. But remember today is a new day and a new beginning, dont be like me lol and turn a cheat into a two day or even a week binge, thats where i make my mistake. Just drink you lots and lots of water, and go walking today and im sure you wont see no gain.

Well ladies today is friday YAY!!! Also it is my 4th day of no dairy or processed meats, whew boy i miss them lol, actually i miss cheese and butter, and the only thing i used it for mostly was my morning eggs. I also miss my mayo, i might have to find a way to make some or something, i need to overlook my menus from almost 2yrs ago, when i took things out of my eating and see if mayo was one of them, i know kept butter in back then but im really trying to see if my issues is yeast related and im really trying to eat as pure as i can. Another thing is i need to get moving, i really dont excercise and use to love it. I keep saying im waiting for more energy but if i excercised it might just give me the energy i need lol. Well ladies i hope you all have a great day today and i will check in later!!!

Good Morning Ladies!!! Hope everyone has a good day...

Day 8 of Re-Induction for me...

Breakfast so far was Mickey D's - 2 sausage patties, 2 round eggs, large decaf

My husband bowls on Mon & Thurs nights. He usually stops and gets himself something to eat, or comes home and reheats something from earlier. But last night he came home and assumed the stir fry in the pan was for him and ate up the rest of it, I was letting it cool in the pan so I could put it in the refridgerator. He was like, "I love when your on Atkins, you make good dinners." and I was like, "Ummmm you just ate my lunch for tomorrow..." HAHAHA I really didn't say it out loud though.

Next time I know to make like 4X the amount. My 12 year old daughter was eyeing it also when she came over to do the dishes, but she ate dinner earlier...

                              Talk to you all later...

Lisa..wow...it's so hard for me to cut out cheese and processed meats. I need to and hopefully I will be able to cut some of it out.
