    Oh my, still up? you must be young, i'd have been passed out by midnight.
    Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday. I'm trying to stay positive this month, and no self bashing...that is real difficult for me, i am very down on myself and i know everyone around me is SICK of it.....so i pledge to do it no more...oh and i have to say something positive about myself everyday.....

      Good Sunday Morning.....Got in my walk this morning..worked up to 29 mins!

      Michelle...I'm so glad you started the no smashing challenge.....We all need to build ourselves up...you know th ole saying....have to Love yourself before you can truly Love others.

      I actually slept in a little longer this morning...thinking it was about 5:30 or a little past when I got up...I was tired I guess..Hubby and I took 3 grandchildren to the Rodeo last night....Boy, that was a challange in itself!

          Another beautiful fall day. DH & I have some chores to do. We will get our walk in before the race, baseball & football starts. This AM we are going over to the gym at the college & work out. The gym officially opened yesterday. I'm so excited that we can do weights now...my upper body needs some strength. Anywho have a great day everyone!!

            Morning all. It's going to be a cleanfest in my house today and I plan on logging all that exercise. We'll call it a winter cleaning--lol. I have a ton of winter clothes to sort out.

              Another unusually beautiful september day today! Nothing on the agenda except for football and maybe heading out to Costco...DBF needs a couple of things...Other than that, thanks Michelle for the no smashing challenge...that is going to be a good one...

                Well, hi there, everyone!

                This is day two of Evermind's Return to Serenity Weekend. Yesterday I spent the morning on my computer, then got my hair done (is there ANYTHING more wonderful than having someone wash your hair? I think not.). I worked on the computer some more, then went to the gym for a fabulous workout.

                I accomplished a lot in terms of doing stuff I've been putting off, but not enough to be able to take a break from it today, so I'm about to do a few more hours work. I don't mind - it is really easing my mind to get this done, so it's cleansing and exhillerating.

                In a couple of hours, I'm going to take a long run. The weather is beautiful and I've not had a good long run in over a week - most of mine in the last 10 days have been shorter than usual for a variety of reasons.

                Then it's grocery time and the gym for weight training.

                My treat for the afternoon is a trip to Starbucks with my daughter.

                I'm regaining my sense of self, reducing the anxiety, and building that inner calm that I rely on so much in my life. It's going to be a weird week in terms of schedule, but if I get enough recharging done today, I'll be set.

                  evermind, just curious, what do you get at starbucks? i dont drink a lot of coffee but on the rare occassion i go to starbucks with someone i never know what we can have!

                    I get an iced coffee (tell them NO SYRUP) and I add cream and a splenda, it's just a great boost if coffee doesn't stall or hinder you...Obviously, coffee and I don't have problems, TG!!!!!!!!

                    Party how's it going with the bathsuit???Did you get it? We are off for a swim in the lake today our last BIG work out before the race next weekend...It's very cool here today, and I suspect I'll be freezing a bit....gonna take a beef sweatshirt for when I get out! I am highly motivated to make good on the swim leg by going LONG today.

                      Happy Sunday STAC'ers,

                      Today I will be strength training again after my warm up. I am concentrating on my core for the first month or so. This actually works my arms (a little) at the same time. So when I am ready to start my arms it will not be such a huge shock to my system (so I am told).

                      I did walk a 20 minute mile on the tread mill yesterday before my strength training. Half way into it a woman came in next to me and started running.... I really wanted to join her but I am not ready yet.

                      I weighed myself today and am happy to report that I am down another 1 #.

                      I can't find my tape measure so I couldn't check that.

                        Starbucks

                        I generally get an iced coffee, no syrup, with 2 splendas. Then I add cream.

                        Now that I've done the dairy rung, I can have a sugar-free cinnamon dolce breve latte, which is absolutely yummy, especially on a chilly day!

                        I don't go very often, but when I do, I sit and enjoy the experience for a long time! My daughters and I bring our knitting and sit and talk about everything under the sun. (we can only knit scarves, because we aren't talented, but it's fun!)

                          Hi everyone! Happy Sunday! Having a lovely relaxing day, went to church, not much else... football is on TV... took some pics and trying to download them...
                          Need to finish my miles for the month... 7 more to go...dh and I are planning a hike in a nature preserve in about an hour... yesterday we went 5 miles... it was nice. beautiful weather lately...plan to jacuzzi after hike, then burgers for dinner, then a movie...

                            Its way not morning any more but I have been really busy all day. Sundays are my only day off so I have been cleaning and doing all the chores I put off all week. I cut up and froze 6 quarts of green and red peppers and 2 quarts of jalepenos from my garden. It has been a great year for peppers. I have bushels more still growing in the garden. I never remember having anything still green in my garden in October. It sure is a mild fall so far. I picked a bushel of acorn squash this after noon too. I need to start OWL soon so I can enjoy some of this bounty while its fresh. I have hundreds of butternut and buttercup squash in the garden along with tomatoes peppers and onions. Any of you live nearby so I can share with you?

                              oh wow! mommagoose! I wish! that sounds wonderful! How wonderful to have such a nice garden... I had tomatoes and small herb garden, the pomagranate tree is loaded this year and I have orange trees... but maybe next year will plant more... that's very inspiring!
