    Good morning everyone! I was surprised that no one had posted yet, so thought I'd get 'r started.

    Day 3 of induction and it's going well. No cheats, lots of water. Now I have to add some exercise! (no, no...don't make me...lol) I've developed a mantra. I want to be at 145 by 4/1, so when I'm having any doubts, I just say '14541, 14541'.

    I could relate to Lola yesterday about self-loathing. When I gain weight, it changes my whole ATTITUDE about myself and the world. I don't really want to go places and do things. I'd rather hide at home, sneak eat and wonder why I'm overweight. What is that anyway? It's like a never-ending circle that I just have to kick my way out of.

    GoodMorning...it's a feel good kinda day. I went out to feed the cats this morning. There is a crisp in the air. Fall has arrived FINALLY, here in Louisiana. With the Holidays right around the corner...I can't help but feel a little excited!

    I KNow..I KNow..can't bear to think it..I always say I am gonna get an early start on Christmas..well here it is October..Have'nt done a darn thing! But to me the excitement is in the Rush to get it done!

    Finishing my coffee..gonna go unload the Dishwasher and hit the Pavement.

      Good Morning.. I want to skip Aerobics this morning.. But I gotta go run some errands so I might as well hit the Y... See I have to go to "town" which means 20 minutes away.. Sometimes I don't want to run to town.. But today I have no excuses...lol

        Good morning. Today is day two back at the gym after taking a bit over a week off. It's gonna hurt so good. I'm too tired to care this morning, really, but I know how good it'll make me feel to go do it and feel accomplishment in so doing. Kind of like you, huggija.
        I'd rather hide at home, sneak eat and wonder why I'm overweight. What is that anyway?
        I remember those times as I stuffed my face with junk food (usually sweets) through the tears streaming down my cheeks, cursing myself for being fat and wondering why I couldn't loose weight.

        My sister-in-law is another one of those cases. She's gaining weight rapidly and is bloated on top of it. She's up to 253 pounds. She looks horrible and so unhealthy and moves like it hurts just to get out of bed. Doesn't help she's got all kinds of problems and surgeries on knees, ankles, etc... I keep telling her about Atkins and that I lost 50 pounds my first time around with barely any exercise, so she could, too. But she keeps claiming "I don't eat that much junk food", while drinking a Pepsi and gorging on bagels and cream cheese or brownies. And my Mom said they went out to breakfast one morning and the s-i-l ordered the delux combo breakfast, pancakes and all. Sad. We eat like pigs at a slop trough and wonder why we're fat.

        Well, ladies and gents....WE know why we're fat. That's why we're here. We're tired of being fat and are taking control of it. No more cookies and bon bons through tears. Instead, it's meats and veggies through exercise and muffin butt challenges! What's that old saying? If you always do what you've always done, then you'll always be where you've always been. An easier one would be a quote from Nike...JUST DO IT!

          Today is a day of rejuvination for me. Was able to take the day off as the OR schedule was slow!! My plan is to go to the gym to workout. Then I'm going to take my mom out to lunch & visit with her for awhile. Then pick up my grandson from school & maybe we'll go for a swim.

          I'm so glad that I'm no longer isolating myself in my house. Atkins has brought some great new changes for me...physically & most importantly emotionally.

            Good morning, everyone!

            Well, I've made it through the 2 tough days in my week. Class last night was actually enjoyable, and although I'm sleepy this morning (went to bed later than usual) I'm happy to have crossed that hump.

            Today I will be able to go to the gym or take a run when I get home - yay! I really miss not exercising. I take 2 rest days a week, but when they happen 2 days in a row, I get itchy.

            Huggija - great to have a catchy mantra! Keep it up.

            Less - I know what you mean about preparing for the holidays. I am ALWAYS later than I thought I'd be.....

            Sandy - your commitment is now strong enough to talk yourself out of the "no, I don't WANT tos!" Congratulations.

            Byker - oh, you're gonna feel soooooo good! I'm glad everything is getting back to normal.

            gmitroff - have a fantastic day. You're doing good things for yourself.

              Loads of enthusiasm here today...
              Huggija, girl if you feel empowered by the diet and taking charge in your life, wait til the endorphines hit....the mood altering is a positive one and did you know that exercise is also a natural appetite surpressant. So girl get out there and exercise! You will be sooo glad you did.

                Good Morning everyone!!!!!!! I'm so glad to read all the positive thoughts and energy flowing this morning! Yeah!!!!!! Visitng family, sticking to goals, pushing through the moments when you don't want to push, crisp fall air, good food and staying on track, it all just sounds, and is, wonderful!!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing this morning!!!!!!

                I am having a great morning as well! My weight dropped a little this morning I officially have passed the halfway point in my loss ........... I now have officially lost more then I still have to lose! I'm having a little personnal celebration this morning and it's motivating me to push harder!!!!

                I better get moving on my day it's one of those Ihave a million things to do days!

                  Good morning, you all sound so awake, not sure how you do it. I am soooo not a mornng person. Having a little trouble with sugar, found out yesterday that I can't do just low carb and no sugar, so sick or not sick I HAVE to get back to total plan. I heard successful people are the ones that do, not just think, so that is my goal this month. to be a doer and not just make plans person.

                    It's so weird to see "Lola" on this page because thats my name on so many other websites... I seriously started reading that thinking she was talking about me for a second... Oh well, she could've been for all it matters because I feel the same way when I'm gaining... or even if I'm not gaining, but I eat carbs... I always get mad after...

                    Anyhoo, other than 3 bites of a brownie yesterday I've been good for three days... I'm not mad about the brownie, but I will not be doing it again...

                    It feels good to be back... again.

                        Good Morning! I'm on day 3! Day 2 was rough, felt nasty, had headache, but still went to the gym! Two days of exercise and day 3, yes, this I can do!

                          Hi all! I am so glad to hear everyone is staying on track. i did not meet my water goal yesterday but i did get in the minimum 64 oz. And i did get in a bit of exercise. Still stuck at 190...i dunno that i have ever seen my scale be so determined to stay at a number before usualy it's up down and all over the place. But i think this is a positive thing because i am eating right and drinking my water so eventually i am gonna see a loss Have a fabulous day everyone!!!

                            Day 10 for me..even though I've had a few cheats I feel really good about how far I've come so far..I havent figured out if the scales lying to me or not but it said I've lost 9lbs a couple days ago, I havent been to the gym in about a week (been really busy) but I'm getting my there tonight for sure, so other then being a little tired today and feeling bad about lockin my dogs in their kennels this morning, I'm feeling really good!
