  • Induction Flu Setting In

Well, about half way through the day it hit- woozy, woozy. Why would anyone even think of cheating at this point- I don't even want to look at food, much less smell it or taste it... Well, I'm going to take it easy, stay hydrated and sleep more till it runs it's course. I didn't get this the first time around- must mean I'm doing it right this time... haha... I ain't goin down without a fight!

Oh, boy. Well, you know what to do. (I'll just remind you!)

Drink a ton of water. Take as much ibuprofin or tylenol as you need. Take it as soon as you get up, and every 4 hours. Eat lots of fat. And nap if you can. Take a walk.

    This, too, shall pass.

On the positive side....induction flu shows that your body is converting from sugar metabolism to fat metabolism. It lasts a few days, then you'll feel the energy surge and start feeling great. Agree...drink lots of water, tylenol and focus on succeeding. Best wishes!!
