    Morning yall,

    I haven't been able to sneak on the board the last 2 days, it is blocked at my worksite. So I am up late and it is actually tomorrow, so here I go!

    I have enjoyed reading everyone's Autumn posts, it makes me feel like I don't live in the desert and it is actually getting crisp! I want to thank everyone here for keeping me here, focused, and motivated. I have stayed on plan even though the scales haven't been moving, and I have FINALLY dropped below 170!!! I have been at 168 for 2 days, so I am at least going to call it 170!!!! Thanksk for the constant encouragement and support.

    Hope everyone is having a wonderful week, enjoy this Thursday in early October and make it a fruitful, legal, and FULFILLING day!

      Good Morning Everyone.. I hate hate hate getting up at 5:30...that hour in the morning should be banned... Its crazy that they expect children to function all day at this hour.. Well I really got up at 4:30 when my bladder called..

      Okay..I haven't been eating perfect...I have eaten some things that I shouldn't..and I pay for it big time in the bathroom... Yesterday while having an IBS attack..I said..this is soooooooooooooo not worth it....I gotta do right...

      So I weighed this morning..and I am 1lb from my ticker weight.. I haven't changed my ticker in so long..its time to get focused and get it moving...

      I fixed a zucchini casserole last night that is on the the Zippy thread..it was good.. My family liked it.. Actually my son said..MOM you have been cooking away this week...lol I am going to freeze a serving of this food so that I have it as a backup.. Anyone know what you shouldn't freeze?

      Off to aerobics this morning... This day is so full of everyone going everywhere...Son and daughter have dentist appointments...Sons is at 8:45 my daughters is at 3...Husband has a doctors appointment... Its a run run run kind of day

        Day 4 and things are going REALLY well. I have no desire to cheat and am getting my water in. Yesterday, I did have this 'craving' for a Diet Coke, Diet Sprite...anything sweet. But I kept repeating my mantra...14541, 14541 and it WORKED. I told myself...drink more water, girl. It'll pay you back BIG TIME.

        My next thing to conquer is not getting on the scales. As you can tell, I've already peaked and have lost a little. It doesn't really matter until at least a week, but I'm taking credit anyway.

        I'm so glad I'm back posting to this forum. It does make me feel stronger and with all of this support, it's no wonder! A never ending thanks to all of you.

          Good Morning All!

          You Know...I have been getting up extremely early the last couple of months.. at first it was so frustating...But over all I am really quite enjoying it now...I have my "ME" time on the boards while having my coffee..I get in a walk when the sun comes up..then I am not rushing to get ready for work...also have time in there to eat a decent breakfast..I was one before to just hit the door running..no breakfast...no preparation for lunch..nothing! Just grab and eat (Junk) so now I feel more organized, more on plan. So, I guess the morale of this story is...No More complaints from me..5:00 in the Morning is starting to Look Good!!

            Lisa, i love this place in the morn with a cup of coffee, what a way to start the day, as a matter of fact. i set my alarm clock 15 min today so i could get on here in the morn...i can't go on at work anymore and nights are too busy.. i find if i go on here at night, i tend not to exercize as much as planned.

              There really is something to getting up ahead of the day, having that "me" time and refocusing on what you are seeking to really change in your life...A walk in the cool of the morning is always a charge in my life...Exercise in the morning makes me feel sooooo powerful.
              I had to take DD in for a test, so we pulled out of the driveway at 6:10, and by the time I got home, I was already for the day. Ready for a challenege thats just waiting for me... Hopefully I've fixed it.
              There is power that comes from that time of committment, where you agree with yourself and choose to eat and act a certain way with foods. I cherish this time, and I work very hard to keep my personal promises. That is how I get confidence, keeping to my plans no matter what....when I don't I feel terrible.
              Day in day out, I keep to my routines I set up here last yr. Trouble comes when I stray, and after a while of consistency it's lifestyle!

                Good morning. Seems everybody is up and at it early this morning. Course, I get up at 4:30 every weekday morning anyway. Seems I've been sleeping to the alarm the last few weeks, too. I used to wake up at least 15 minutes before the alarm. Course, September being the wreck it was, maybe I'm just trying to catch up.

                Got day two in at the gym this week. Now to make it Friday and I'll be back on track! I swore never to miss a Friday and then I directly miss three in a row!

                Sandy, I've had IBS for sooo long. The pain that makes you nauseas. But it's amazing how it isn't nearly as bad when I'm loyal to Atkins. I still slip up now and again (I'm no Atkins saint, though I wish I was) but I KNOW I'll pay for it and it helps me avoid such things for the most part. It never fails that when I eat especially bread, I pay for it dearly and you are sooooo right. It is soooooo not worth it. We know not to stick our hands in a fire because it will burn, when will we learn not to put bread in our mouths when we know the agony that will without doubt follow?

                Well, work won't wait for me, so I better get to it.

                    Morning, it was dark thirty when I got up. Thats just wrong. People should not get up before the sun. LOL. Ok so yesterday did not go as planned. Today will be much better. Getting on track, behaving myself. Packing snacks in a cooler. No more boiled egg incidents (burning, exploding, smelling up the house) I bought an egg cooker. Henrietta Hen chirps when they are hard boiled hehe Went to a chinese buffet and they had little tiny octopi in a vinagrette. They were GREAT and fun. Its going to be a GREAT day today.

                      Hello, all!

                      Last night I came home and went for a wonderful 4-mile run. It was a nice evening and EVERYONE was out on the bike path, walking, jogging, even dancing. I had a blast. 2 months ago, I couldn't run 1/4 of a mile.

                      I'm up early, because I'm always up early. We get up at 4:45, leave the house by 6. That's the way it is here. I like having 20 minutes alone to drink my coffee and post here while dh is in the shower. It's like our own coffee group, meeting up before the day begins.

                      I haven't lost in several days, and I am really glad that I have figured out my body's cycle. It's annoying, but I know that I am in the "hover" part and approximately how long it will last. Since I never cheat, and I use fitday, I can rest assured that I'm not doing anything to create this syndrome.

                      Tonight I'm going to the gym -can't wait.

                        evermind, i liked what you had to say about your body's rythms. especially the phrase about 'i never cheat, and i use fitday, so i know i am not sabotoging'....i think i will put that up on my fridge with a few other quotes i love. one of those other quotes is:

                        'we all must suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment.'

                        everyone sounds so motivated today, yeah! jess, are you excited for this weekend????

                          Good Morning everyone!!!!!!!! I have to agree that we all seem to have a positive go forward attitude no matter what today!!!!!! I love hearing it over and over again it just reinforces what I know to be true! I got an exciting moment this morning on the scale as I reached my next mini goal of 189! I was very happy but also cautious knowing that after a 3-4 pound drop over a few days I go into a 7-9 day flat place .......... kind of like Everminds "Hover" .......... so it was good to be reminded this morning that it's ok ......... I am staying on track and eating what I should and if patient enough it will slide into a loss soon!


                          It's a wonderful thing to have all of you to gently remind us daily to keep on Keeping on!!!!!!!!

                            Good Morning early birds! Had another great day yesterday. I did weigh yesterday, one week of induction down and am down a half a pound.
                            This is my second time around so I knew it would be slow. I do already feel
                            so much better!

                              Good Morning!

                              Day 4 and it's going great. I'm truly amazed! TOM is starting and I'm down 5 lbs today. I'm sure its because of the way I was eating up until the point that I started but I'm still happy!

                              Ohhh all the talk about getting up early and have coffee while reading and writing here! My computer at home crashed a few weeks ago and I'm missing that "me" time!
