  • A Gain?

    Hey everyone...I have a problem! I have been on Atkins for 16 days and I was losing soo good...even thru TOM...but this morning I gaind 2 lbs!!! What happened? I did the same thing yesterday!! Has anyone ever done this before and what were your results the next day? Please help!!!
    I can do this!! I just have to stick my mind to it! I am the only one that can fix me!!

    I wish I could tell ya exactlly. There's a lot of reasons for a quick 2 pound overnight gain. Water, salt, exercise, etc. If you've been increasing your exercise and not drinking enough water, that could be the issue. I wouldn't worry about it must unless the 2 pounds sticks for a few days, then you might want to consider posting your menu's for a review.

    Oh, and ps....muscle gain is another issue you might experience with weight gain if you're so close to your goal. I've only read that and have yet to experience it personally...getting so close to goal, I mean

      I'dont have a clue. This only happened to me when I introduced the Atkins bars into my diet. Hang in there and don't give up.

        Ignore that gain..its just a number.. I promise you if you stay on track it will go down plus some... One time I had a 6lbs gain over a weekend...I was at a dance competition and I didn't cheat..I worked hard and eating right.. I came home and weighed and was ready to throw the woe out the window.. Well I kept on and the numbers went down quickly..by the end of the week I was down 10lbs.. Because I ate out a lot I must of just had a lot of salt in my body
