    Good morning everyone!

    I don't have a lot of time this morning...running a bit behind. My dh and I are going to Cirque du Soleil tonight at our local civic center...I'm jazzed. If you've never seen one, it's just amazing! Total sensory overload. And the things those people can do with their bodies...wow. As soon as I get my yoga dvd, I'll be just like them. NOT.

    Still on track for a cheat free October. Wow.

      good morning....somehow i kicked myself out of ketosis, and i'm up 4 pounds holding steady, so i'm back to induction for a few days to get those ketones stirred up, wish me luck

        Hi all. It's nearly Friday. Yay!!! My personal achievement for today is that I went for 2 walks; one before work and the other after work, even though I was really worn out. It's amazing how you can seem to find that extra energy and go a bit further each time on this WOE.

        Anyway, hope you have a great time at Cirque de Soleil tonight, Huggi. It's a spectacular show.

          Energy is amazing on Atkins, there always seems to be a buzz....I love to watch the newcomer who gets hit with the Ketosis-high and cleans out the closets, fridge and garage!!!! It happens, you can watch em, they just get energized and go clean everything that they've had no energy to deal with...Pretty cool.

          I wish I had that energy right now....I am off to work out, and press the issue with my body. Tying up a million little details before my trip...Now ya'll remember I leave Sat and will be gone for 10 days....I know you will all stay close to each other and stay in ketosis while I am gone....I think Evermind has it all under control around here..
          Gotta go get some more mileage in before my withdrawl from exercise begins....

            Good Morning.. One thing I don't like about all this Energy is waking up at 4:30 and not being able to go back to sleep...lol

            I am off to aerobics this morning.. Down a pound today

                Just checking in real quick before diving into work. Left early due to severe storms, now I have to make up the work without being able to make up the time.

                I was a bad girl...got two frowny faces on my diet-exercise sheet. By the time I got home I was so tired I was falling asleep on the highway (much like I did coming in this morning...I drive 50 miles each way) So, I didn't go to the gym. Then we went out to eat for my birthday after a nap (it's the only thing we do to celebrate) and I ended up with half a baked potato and half a roll...along with my once a year real treat, deep fried mushrooms. The steak sucked...very NOT worthy of the name "Montana Mike". I'm not too worried about what the food will do to me, but I am disappointed in my lack of exercise. However, I'm taking some "Jet Alert" this afternoon so I a) won't fall asleep on the highway and b) won't be too tired and exhausted to go to the gym tonight...making up for last night.

                And I know, Jet Alert is caffiene, but when you're falling asleep on the highway... I'd rather loose weight more slowly than hit another car head on.

                    huggija - I'm jealous... I've always wanted to go to cirque de sole

                    starr - I, too, am trying a new recipe today... Chicken Lemon Rice soup sans rice. Chicken broth, egg yolks, lemon juice, salt and pepper... and chunks of chicken We'll see how it turns out...

                    blazing - I'm with you girl... I'm on day three no cheating, and still no ketones... So, I'm gonna up my fat intake and be more strict...

                    yoyo - yay for excercise... I think I'll go for a walk after work too...

                    outback - I am feeling that energy come back... lol thinking about it if you look at my check in's for the last three days... I think those even get better with the energy... my first one was "I'm here." and then a bit longer... and now this one - lol

                    As for me - it's one week away from closing on my condo!! I'm very excited... especially for the upgrade in cupboards... now, instead of having one side be Atkins-friendly I can keep the sugar laden foods in a whole other cupboard Can we say UPGRADE?

                    So, I'm super thrilled... Not to mention I've lost a lb. a day for the past three days... That's awesome No falling off anymore... I've got my friend in on a bet whoever can lose 9 lbs. first has to buy the other one an EXPENSIVE dinner... I'm thinking Outback or something... so that's fun little motivation...

                    My MINIGOAL (for the 9 lb. win) = 149 lbs.

                      GOOOOOD MORNING!

                      I made my second mini-goal! I made my second mini-goal! 2. 0. 4!!!!!!!!!!!! (mini goal was 205)

                      I was certain when I got on the scale this morning that I'd be UP. Last night I finally opened the box of low carb icecream I bought a few weeks ago, and tried it. I must say, it wasn't the greatest stuff, and I was awake every hour on the hour last night, with tummy rumbling and had trouble going back to sleep. ICK! Not worth it at ALL. (now, if they ever invent low carb haagen dazs, I am IN. But not this stuff!)

                      Byker, when you talked about how sleepy you were when you got home, I could really relate. Happens to me all the time. What I'm FINALLY learning is that exercise actually gets me going again, and most of the time I'm able to force myself to go to the gym. Try it once, to see what happens. And you guys have GOT to find something else to do to celebrate!

                      Got a lot of work done tyesterday, and it's back to my classroom today. I missed my kids. I will do a run this afternoon, and some yoga. I've got a good lunch packed, but I feel really nauseous still - the after effects of those sugar alcohols, I guess. <blech>

                      Mica - good for you getting back on track! Keep it up!

                      Hugg - have fun tonight!

                      Sandy - if you keep losing a pound at a time, eventually you are going to have lost, like, 50 lbs!

                      Strudel - people who don't post........well, shame on them! lol

                      Pls - if the soup is good, post the recipe, please? Great job on getting back on track, too. I know it's been a real struggle for you to climb on and stay on. Congrats on the condo!

                      Jess - Listen, I don't recall you asking us whether you could go on a trip. I would not have said "yes". What are we supposed to do for inspiring talks when you're gone? Hurry back!

                        Hi everyone! No weight loss this morning - but I'm in very high ketosis and yeah - I"m so not into the energy level waking me up before the sun is up - LOL I wake up early enough thank you!

                        We are off to pick and move the pumpkins from one side of the field to the other for the pick your own pumpkin patch this morning. We need to see how many we have.

                        Had a decent breakfast - eggs and lamb sausage. We sell the sausage and I hadn't tried it yet. Not my favorite thing I must say - even though I love lamb. At least my husband won't be yelling at me for eating it all like he does for our kielbasa which I can eat every night - LOL.

                        Well off to fill up the water bottle - yesterday I drank at LEAST 5 of the bottles!! So I was excited about that. Did have a diet coke with splenda because I was crashing in the afternoon - but that was it.

                          Good Morning! Will be back for personals later! Drive in was bad because of rain/storms. Day 18 - still no more weight loss and no more inches lost...not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'll give my body more time to adjust. Still very happy and upbeat to say - its 17 full days of being cheat free!

                          Yesterdays menu
                          B-tuna, egg and mayo mixture
                          L-1 tilapia filet with 1/2 cup of broccoli/cauliflower mixture (left over)
                          Pre-workout - atkins breakfast bar
                          D-salad with cheese, ranch and hb egg
                          S-last of pumpkin cheesecake with whipped cream

                            Yep, I am going off without asking permission....Traveling the world! I will find a way to keep tabs on you and I will report here from the remote down of Sydney Australia...
                            For now, it's time to cook of a storm for my family being left in the dust! Tons of pasta for skinny husband and low carbings for DD...
                            that should keep me pretty busy and out of trouble for the day.

                              I hope I have a good day today, it was so windy and cold this morning driving to work I hope it clears up later today. I really need to get my body back in ketosis I need the energy and the 'thin' feeling, I've been bloated for the last few days and am not feeling good about it. I havent weighed myself since last thursday because I'm afraid that it will say I've gained from cheating last weekend, I'm planning on weighing on sunday so we'll see what happens! I'm gonna try to drink all of my water today too!
