  • Have You Made Your List Yet?

    You know, sometimes we get down on ourselves for being overweight. Sometimes we let other people hurt our feelings or make us feel inferior. Society has this image of what beauty is. And it is such an incorrect image.

    I have made a list that I have posted. It is a list of what I love about myself. When I am having one of those days where I feel down about my weight or insecure, I read my list.

    WHAT I LOVE ABOUT MYSELF...

    I am beautiful inside and out
    I am a good person
    I am a good mother
    I am a caring person
    I am a moral person
    I have gorgeous green eyes
    I have big, full beautiful pouty lips
    I love my smile
    I have cute dimples when I smile
    I have nice hair
    I have sexy curves waiting to come out again and knock em dead
    I have a cute and unique laugh
    I am a great singer
    I am a great dancer
    I am a giver
    I am a great daughter
    I am a great sister
    I am creative
    I communicate well with others
    I am a good employee
    I am a good safe driver
    I am a strong single parent
    I am a woman
    I have happy healthy children
    I can achieve my goals I set for myself
    I have determination
    I have a funny sense of humor
    I know how to have fun
    I don't take things too seriously
    I have great faith in the lord

    WHEN I READ MY LIST, I FEEL REFRESHED, I FEEL MORE CONFIDENT.
    YOU SHOULD SIT DOWN AND MAKE A LIST OF THE THINGS YOU LOVE ABOUT YOU... AND OF COURSE KNOW THAT YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AT THE WEIGHT YOU ARE CURRENTLY AT AND WHEN YOU REACH YOUR GOAL WEIGHT!! LOVE YOURSELF WITH WHEREVER YOU ARE ON YOUR JOURNEY.

    Nothing like a few weeks in ketosis to put us back in favor of ourselves...I see some good self pride rising up with in you girl....
    Stay focused and stay strong so that all of these beautiful amazing qualities can go from strength to strength!
    Keep your feet on level ground! Let these feelings only move onward into confidence...
    I recognize them in my own life, and I also know FOR ME, to eat off plan would cause such a collapse of the self confidence and joy I feel each day....FOR ME, to loose my head and loose my low carb ways would take me back to the darker feelings and places in my life...

          Awesome post, Girl!!! Love the list....makes me write down mine, except I got to 109 and thought I'd better just post three...

          1. I've come this far....there's no going back!
          2. I've started something for me...there's no ending!
          3. I've given myself a new leash on life...there's no giving back!
