    Good Morning everyone.. I have survived 2 days of my food busy weekend with NO CHEATS.. One more day today.. I can do this! I so hope the scale is kind to me on Tuesday..it hasn't been all week...

    I have my broccoli salad ready with my own container for me.. 2 PB and Jelly cookies (Low carb) ready to resist the other temptations...

    I just wanted to say....my famous quote.. If you don't plan you will fail. This is one prime example is my food weekend.

    But I tell you what the 34lbs I have lost feels so much better then that Birthday cake that was served last night... Although still a little ticked that NO ONE in my family notices my weightloss Last time they saw me I had lost 17lbs...

    Sandy...have them look at your pics you have posted...you can see a major difference!

    Sunday...my fav day of the week. although not going to church this Morning..Granddaughter and I are driving to Shrveport to spend the day with my Mom and my Aunt. Gonna have Lunch...I'm wanting some Salmon...Hoping to find a good place.

    Big Election day here in Louisiana yesterday. Hubby and I got there 10 mins before the Polls shut down...so sat up late to see the results...but still up at 5:00..what's the deal??

      Hello hello!

      This weekend is going by way too fast! I made it through yesterday cheat free! In fact I almost didnt eat enough, I wasnt hungry... gotta love ketosis.

      Sandy - I know you can make it through today. The benefits of passing on cake and other carb loaded foods far "out-weigh" the few minutes it takes to eat them

      You are right about planning ahead ...I am plagued by week after week of cakes and sweets at work for workmates birthdays. Last week was the first time I passed on it, but I stalled eating my lunch until all were having cake; that way I got to feel like I was participating in the event without needing to have the conversation about why I wasnt eating cake!

      I plan on getting some much needed yard work done today.. as well as going gorcery shopping. Two chores I'd rather not do .. lol

        Congrats Sandy! I KNEW you could do it and knew how good it feels to climb that mountain. All of us have that mountain...putting food in it's proper place. It isn't comfort, it isn't confidence, it isn't ANYTHING BUT FOOD. I know you'll be successful today.

        Grniidgrl...grocery shopping...ick. yard work...i love it.

        I'm still cheat free and the scale is still stuck. But I'm not stuck...I know I'm doing the right things and continue to feel better and better. I just cannot let myself be discouraged. I started to 'go there' when I saw the scale this morning, but I thought NO. The weight WILL come off, inches are already coming off. Don't obsess!

          Morning STACers. Don't worry about your family not commenting on your obvious losses--trust me, it IS obvious you've lost. Piccies don't lie and we all see the difference.

          I think I've developed a cold of sorts. Me and the baby are all drippy nosed. Last week my older daughter had the same deal for about three days. It's all in my head and we both feel oogie. Thanks to ketosis though, I have a ton of energy and feel good otherwise.

          I'm thinking it'll be a quiet Sunday here before gearing up for another crazy week.

            Another beautiful fall day & the sun is shining. Minimal plans for Sunday at my house. Definately a walk will be happening...with my MP3 player!! Excellent investment! I'm going to do some quilting & totally OD on sports!!

              good morning everyone, lots of positive energy in this place today.....no quitters, that's good to hear. I'm still stuck with 2.5 lbs to goal, but at least i'm not gaining again....so i will count my blessings....well it's off to get all the munchkins up and ready for church, hugs to all of you and stay focused...no cheating....

                Good morning everyone! We're up early because dh thought he had to work at 7. Turns out it's 11 he starts, so we're sitting here wondering what to do. I was going to drop him off and go to the gym, but I'll wait until evening about 2 hours before I have to go pick him up.

                We had a wonderful day yesterday down in Coronado Island. Had lunch at a really nice italian restaurant - they had this chicken egg drop soup with fresh spinach, and a salad with smoked salmon - not a nasty kind of carb in sight!

                We walked all over, and enjoyed the terrific weather and sights, then stopped at Borders on the way home. Came home, read, and had dinner. Yummy day.

                I have to go grocery shopping today and start cooking for the rest of the week. In a few minutes, I'm gonna go surf some recipe sites. Need some new ideas, as within the next few weeks I will be sick of what i eat every day (anyone else like that? Eat the same things every single day for a long time?)

                Sandy, you look MAHVELOUS, and blind relatives are always the last to see it. They have a fixed image of you in their heads and it doesn't deviate unless you lose, like, 200 lbs.

                Lisa - so what were the election results?

                Grnd - don't forget to count those leaf-rakings as exercise!

                Meena -have you tried zycam? Get the swabs. They kill a cold in hours for me. And prevent them entirely if I start as soon as I feel the tiniest big ookie.

                Glenda - sounds like an absolutely awesome day. Enjoy!

                  GM everyone well I made my goal for my crunches and I am almost at goal for squats. I am going to join the november improvement challange I did better on the test then I thought I would i'm in the average catagory for all the ones I took. I wanted to do the running test but if I push it to much I get asthma attacks so I decided I better skip that test.
                  Everymind I am so like that to I get in a rut and cook the same thing way to often. I have tons of recipes yet I seldom see to get around to cook any of them. Humm do they have a challange for creative meal planning?lol
                  Lisa so tell us are you happy with the way the election results came out?
                  Well I have so much I need to get done this morning I better get my butt in gear. I hope everyone has an awesome sunday.

                    This is the big baby shower day . I hope I can keep everything together. I am a nervous wreck. My food day is already messed up. No time for a regular breakfast. Drank my tea and ate an Atkins breakfast bar. Not good. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Got to run.

                      Hi everyone!

                      Well, all I can say is "you can run, but you can't hide." I'm back. I've just proven to myself that AD is the way that I can really be in control of my eating.

                      I've strayed but I'm back.

                      Glad that I'm here.

                      I ran a 5k yesterday for "Race for the Cure." Finished in 40 minutes. yeah 2 minutes faster than my run in July.

                      I have the exercise thing down pat, now it is telling myself that I need to choose better food to put into my mouth.

                            You are so correct total faith will get you there. Yesterday i went to my nephew's end of the season football party and they had a buttercream cake from a local bakery in my area. The cake was being cut at the table directly accross from me and oh did i want it. (I know I heard it calling my name) but i just said a silent pray and asked God for strength. Needless to say i didnt have any cake and i am very proud of myself.

                              Just stopping in to say hi and see how everyone is doing. I'm an alumnus of the STAC club - I made it to goal...again! I haven't been around too much as I moved and have no time to myself anymore at my new job, but I have some time to myself today and thought I'd check in on the STACers. I'm so happy that this group is still going strong, it was sooooo helpful for me. So keep on keeping on, folks, and know that you will make it there.

                              I haven't been so good with the exercise really, so I need to start that back up again. Reading all of your comments is inspiring, I'm going to get back on track with that!
