    Good morning everyone!

    It has definitely turned to Fall here in Central Illinois; it was downright CHILLY yesterday. I'm ready for it, however. I love summer, but was ready for the leaves to change and cooler temps.

    FINALLY...I was down another .5 lbs today. I was beginning to lose faith (not really, but you know how it is sometimes!) but now it's totally restored. I didn't do as well as I should with water yesterday, so that's today's pledge. Still cheat free as well...gonna make it through October!

    Yesterday I read through the posts and really drew a lot of strength. I just wanted to say THANKS to all of you. It's so helpful to know that you're all here and that we're all pulling together.

    Good Tuesday Morning all!

    It is Chilly here this morning also...Stepped out to feed the Kitty's...BBRRR..Bring on the sweaters and Jackets. I Love winter clothes..I hate big coats, but a fanatic on little jackets, maybe even an addiction..like shoes and purses..but Jackets for me!

    Feeling really good this Morning..the scales fell into another decade...159.6..haven't seen this in a long while...I have been in the 160 plus for months and months..so hopefull the so called stall is breaking...yes!!

    I hope everyone has a wonderful and uplifting day!

      Good Morning Stacers!!

      Stayed the same this week which is okay. Almost got into trouble last night with a bag of Doritos. Why....I was extremely overtired & over emotional. Doritos=comfort food. Didn't do it. Ate tuna, mayo with celery. Valuable lesson in taking care of me & not getting so overtired! Proud of myself this AM for not caving & comforting myself with food.

        good morning.

        a little humid today, but, i will take it. Got out and ran a couple miles this morning.

        Feels good.

          Sigh I wish it would cool down some here today it will be almost 90 oh well have to love florida. My weight stayed the same this week also but I lost almost a inch of my waist and my bosyfat dropped almost 1% also. I only have 2 pounds to go to make my goal weight of 125 I realy want to make that by christmas but for right now my weight is staying around 127. Glenda doesn't it feel great not to give into temptation way to go.

            Good Morning... Well its going to be in the 80s here today but then suppose to cool down...

            I am heading to water aerobics today..will probably be the only day I go.. I have to do major house cleaning on Wednesday...I work on Thursday and my daughters birthday party is here on Friday.. I have to limit what I do because of my feet issues....

              Hi just checking in!!! I made it through day one and venturing on into day two, and so far so good, but its still early lol. I will do fine, actually i did get my cravings yesterday around 3pm which i expected to happen, that will go on for about the first 3 days but all i did was drink water and made myself busy and i was fine. The one thing i will have to work on is getting all the water in, i was doing so good with that the last time, but i think i only got in about 60oz yesterday, so i will have to pick it up today. Well i just wanted to check in before i got my day going and i hope you all have a blessed day.

                Just a quick check in before I dive into today's workload. Went to the gym last night...got a smiley face on my diet/exercise sheet. Yea! It feels good to be back on track. I made three days last week, will make three days this week. And I'm going to throw in 2 more days of walking. M-W-F=gym T-T=walk. Need to start taking my dog for walks...she's getting fat. First house dog I've had in years and years and years and I'm dreadfully spoiling her with treats. She's not fat yet, but certainly getting too round for her health. So, we'll both benefit.

                Have a successful Atkins Day everybody!

                  Good Morning Everyone! Today is a beautiful day in Maine and I wish it would stay like this forever. (Despite living in Maine I do not like the cold weather!) I had a good day yeasterday but I think I need to get more strict with what I eat. I have not cheated in over a week, but I made an induction friendly cheesecake on friday and have been munching on that quite a bit. Only small portions at a time but I find myself reaching for that instead of something real to eat. Also I drank a lot of Diet Coke this weekend so I think the combination of those two is the cause of my weight fluctuations. So today I am going to stay away from the cheesecake and make sure to drink only water. I was feeling a little defeated this morning but I always feel more empowered when I get on this board and read all the post form people who have done well and those who are struggling. It really helps me get past those tough, I want to quit times! So thanks, everyone!

                    Work up crampy and well just BLAH this morning - you guessed it my TOM showed up and gave little warning besides being edgy and irritated all day yesterday.

                    Usually I would eat a HUGE bag of M&M's and would be fine for the day. Day 1 is the only really bad day for me so it's tough right now.

                      Good Morning everyone!

                      So walking after work last night was NOT a success ... it's so hard to get out there before it gets dark. I figured that my best chance to get some exercise was to hit the gym on my lunch hours .. YAY to getting sweaty and coming back to work .. LOL

                      I figure if I can get in a good 40 mins on the eliptical and treadmill on alternating days 4 times a week would be ok. Then I can walk on the weekends. Thanks to Ketosis I have all this energy I am not using ..and it makes me a bit stir crazy in the evenings

                      That may also contribute to my restless nights sleep.

                      Sandy - (regarding your post on the other thread) I know it can be dissappointing to feel you havent lost anything .. inches included. But I can tell you ... sometimes I loose inches in places I wouldnt expect first .. such as I dont fill out my bras as well .. around my ribcage .. my arms etc .. The Last place I lose from are my hips.

                      Try not to get discouraged .. The weight and your size WILL shift

                        Hi, everyone! It's going to be 79 today with rain! Yay! I don't think I will ever be so happy to see rain. We've only had half an inch since July. That's crazy.

                        Well, had my biopsy yesterday. It was not fun. Left thyriod under my chin - four needles. But, the dr. said he really doesn't think it's malignant. Of course, we won't know for sure for a couple of days. Go back to the doctor on Monday for final assessment. We're pretty sure the tumors are going to come out regardless. I'm tired of doing this every couple of years.

                        After the biopsy, I had trouble eating, so had some soup. I'm pretty sure it wasn't induction friendly, but it was better than the pudding or ice cream they told me to eat!

                        Ordered a pilates DVD and hoping to get some real exercise in. Walking is great, but I want to mix it up some...

                          Good morning all. Still sitting at 183 but hey that's 14 pounds lighter than i was I feel skinnier everyday. I am not doing so well on exercise right now so i am hoping that the yoga challenge next month will really get me in gear. With the cold and dark and my son's football practice consuming so much time it has been next to impossible to even get dinner on the table by 8 pm most days. I am really looking forward to quiet evenings again. Good to hear about cheat free days and excess energy from all you dedicated STACers

                            Morning all--EVERMIND WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?! I'm thinking about you and your family--I hope you are all safe.

                            It's a good morning here as well. The air is crispy and nice--not too cold, not too hot. I went to walmart yesterday looking for a yoga mat. They're 10 bucks--for a teeny little foam mat..... That's more than I paid for the DVD, lol. I'll use the carpet. I'm all psyched to start the yoga club. I can't wait for the DVD to get here. I'm hoping babycrank will allow me to put her down for more than a few minutes to actually DO the exercise. She's becoming permaglued to my hip, which is inconvienient at times.

                              Meena I was checking for a post from Evermind this morning as well ........... the news reports don't look so good and she mentioned the possibility of being evacuated yesterday ........... Check in girl we're thinking about you!!!!!


                              As for me I was down 1.4 this morning which was great. I felt like I ate so much on the veggie challenge which just goes to show I'm not eating nearly enough veggies daily as I'm supposed to even though I thought I was. Actually taking the time to put them all in Fitday makes you realise what your missing for sure.

                              I'm still trying to pick a veggie to try I can't get to the grocery store till Thursday ( I have to have someone drive me) so It will be a last day thing for me but I will get a new one in
