    I am still going thru the dolldrums - about 3 weeks so far of not a lot of energy, not a lot of pep, no weight change, no inches change. Not a big appetite, no cravings whatsoever. No temptations. Just........plodding along.

    The way I see it for myself, this is a whole lot better than being constantly tempted to eat something forbidden, or having a difficult time regulating my food. But it's not nearly as good as that smooth ride we all have a lot of the time, where the weight comes off, albeit slowly, we have a ton of energy, and we feel like we look good.

    Ah, well.

    This, too, shall pass.

    I do love you guys, no matter whether I'm losing and peppy, or hovering and sorta punky.

    Evermind- I feel very similar lately. I have been so busy that I haven't been eating as well as I should and taking the time for myself. When I do have some down time I am trying to recover from the exceedingly long days. Tueday (tomorrow) is my last trip for awhile and I am really looking forward to getting more involved with myself! Does that sound selfish?

    At any rate I need to get those last 5# off before my b day so I can get my reward for my 40th. Maybe we need a STAC'er daily challenge or 2 day challenge. Just going over the basics that get us feeling so good.

      Goodmorning! and congratulations Angel!
      Let me briefly introduce myself - I've just started Atkins for the second time in about 5 years. I was successful last time, but fell off the wagon. I started on Wednesday last week and so far so okay (I'm taking aspirin to deal with the edgy feelings - I think it's just withdrawal from the sugars).
      I want to join a group or challenge or two so that I feel some accountability.

      Good luck to all and I look forward to reading your posts.

          Hello everyone. I am back and really sticking to induction this week. I have been eating an apple everyday but I refuse to be guilty about it. This time of year they are so yummy and they are only good for a few days. Any how they are all gone . This year is winding down so quickly . Sometime this month I am going to be a grandma. I am so excited. My daughter had a false alarm this weekend. She was shopping at Lowes when she began to have pains. They lasted for 2 1/2 hours then quit. The twins were not quite ready yet. This month my goal is to lose 12 pounds . To that end I began my yoga challenge this morning. I can feel the energy in my legs from the standing exersizes . I will try some more tomorrow. Everyone have a wonderful day.

            Good Morning everyone! You all sound so upbeat and possitive despite challenges, mess ups and all! You inspire me!
            This morning I ran out the door to Moms in Touch meeting for an hour.Stopped at the grocery store for a few things I need to make the Lasagne Casserole for dinner and just made a hair apt for tomorrow. I am on track with my plan for the day so far to get organized and back 'together'. I was thrilled to see I lost another lb bringing me back down to my siggy wt!!!!! and that after working all weekend surrounded by candy and chocolate cake which I did not eat... but didn't drink enough water and Tom showed up yesterday afternoon... so hopefully the numbers will be better in a few days which will be great!
            Going to take my dog for a walk, clean the house like a crazy woman, and make sure we have a wonderful dinner together tonight. Worked all weekend so I miss my dh and ds.
            Congratulations lcangel!!!! Wow! you tiny thing you! 125!!!!! I remember being that weight! It felt great... not sure I'll ever see it again... just want to get to the 140's. That seems like an enormous goal right now... but I'll get there no doubt! Time, Patience, and walkin' the walk....

                  Thanks - and glad to hear that! I just got in after driving past "Canada Bread" and that sweet smell of fresh bread was really messing with my will power... in the midst of carbohydrate purgatory I sat down at my computer with a litre of water and read your kind words.

                  (have to survive a family birthday party tonight for our oldest son - he wants to go to his favorite pasta restraunt!!!)
                  I think I'll down a couple of litres of water on my way to the restraunt
                  I'll be ready to take on those Garlic Toasted Carbohydrates
