Hi ADDB -
SOme of you may remember me from about 2 years ago. I am a 26 year old Atkins veteran twice over. I had a lot of success with the WOL in college and even more sucess just after. It seems right as the going gets good, it's time for me to move, and the expnse/stress/general hecticness of moving forces me to end up not going to the gym/eating Ramen noodles 24/7. I flirted with the idea of returning to the WOL early this year, but ended up training for a marathon, and was not sure how to balance the two (I know tons of people did it, but I jumped on the glorious carb bandwagon). Unfortunate;y I broke my leg during a half-marathon a few weeks before the marathon and I am fearing that my my active lifestyle eating plan is going to catch up with me. I have not gained more than 5 lbs back since I stopped doing Atkins the second time, although during my move down to DC from Boston, I dropped down to 190 (basically lost 30 lbs in about 1 months due to not having enough money to eat and having to walk a lot b/c I couldn't afford the metro and had to rely on busses).
Long story short - I am back and gearing up to restart this WOL as soon as I get paid - which will probably be this weekend! Looking forward to hearing your motivation stories and recieveing your support! Not looking forward to giving up beer
