    Good morning all!

    This will be a short post. I slammed my middle finger on my left hand in our french door yesterday and I'm tellin' ya...it' HURTS. I'll definitely lose my nail (gross) and my finger is almost black from the first (last?) knuckle. It's hard to type, but I did want to wish everyone a successful day!

      Good morning. I hope your finger heals quickly. Still chugging along here. My weight has been fluctuating a lot lately. Frustrating.

            I feel the same way sandy sigh. Things are so unbelievable stressful around here at the moment. Now there is a probelm with my glocuse test and I have to go in to see the doctor sure would be nice if he didn't make me wait over a week just sitting around worring first. I just am so stressed out I no desire to work out or domuch of anything else either. Oh well be that as it may I am going to try realy hard to make myself workout some today but first I am going to take a very long hot bubble bath with a few candles and see if I can destress some.

                Good Morning STAC'ers I woke up to a pleasant drop on my scale FINALLY!!!! And it's not really a recordable loss just back to my low I have been fluctuating for more then two weeks now at about 2-3 lbs above my low ....... Just another testament to keeping on track because I was getting so frustrated but also trusting in the plan and everyone's previous advice that if I kept to the plan and excercised that it would show up on the scale eventually and WALA it did! Amazing how things work the way Dr. Atkins intended them too huh??????

                    Good morning everyone!

                    I am doing ok I guess!?? I am feeling frustrated about the lack of scale movement and even though I am losing inches I just want to see that scal move. I think my body has found a comfy spot and wants to stay there. I am going to try and eat more veggies, drink more water and exercise more. I would love to be in the 180's for Thanksgiving. What a great motivation to stay on track!

                    Sandy....I know how hard it is to get back on track but you have to do it. You are in control of your body and your life. Do not let your cravings control you! Push through a couple tough days and you will be so proud of yourself. You can do it! You know you will feel so much better getting back on track!!

                      Yay! Congrats on the loss Heidi! We're all losers in our own way!

                      Welcome to the forum Nikko, if you need any help whatsoever, you know where to find us. This forum is filled with many friendly people who will offer you some of the greatest advice ever.

                      Sandy, I know exactly how you feel. This is probably the millionth time I Have retried atkins. You just gotta sit down, and think over things and ask yourself why you keep on failing. If you ever have a craving, eat something crunchy, it always helps!!! Like some cucumbers, or anything atkins friendly. another thing to curb your craving is to brush your teeth. You're most likely not going to want to eat anything cause you have that oh so minty fresh taste in your mouth that would tast horrid with anything else. I'm rooting for you girl!!! Keep on posting. =)

                      Ouch Huggija!!! That must hurt really bad. I hope they gave you something for the pain. =( Hope it heals soon. =)

                      As for me, I am so very tired, but I had to force myself to wake up and get ready for work. Actually, I haven't gotten ready for work yet, but at least I took a shower last night, so I am safe. Today is a new day for me and after eating those evil foods in my cooking class last night, I am getting back on track today and eating the foods that I prepared for myself. MMm mmm mmm, shrimp, yummy!!! I haven't been sleeping very well lately, but I think it's cause I started a new job and my friend passed away last friday. I've been thinking about him every night and I end up crying myself to sleep. =( I don't like crying and I don't know if I will be able to compose myself at the viewing today and funeral tomorrow. He was so young, but a very strong person. =( The thing I am doing for the family is making 3 funeral arrangements for them. I hope they like them because I am making them with love and taking my time to make them perfect.

                      Anyway, gotta get my butt in gear!

                        Very proud of myself, I had to come into work early this morning but I still did my excerise before I came in, got up very early.

                        @Huggija - I hope your finger heals quickly so you can type lots and lots.

                        I hope you figure things out Sandy.

                        I've been hungry at night the past couple days so I'm going to try and eat a little more during the day.

                        Can't wait for TOM to be over so I can weigh myself again.

                            Good Morning Everyone!

                            Been a busy week thus far at work and I havent had time to post so much.. But things are going along as planned.. I think I may start upping my veggies yet again. I am not really tracking how much veggie carbs I eat. Just carbs in general.
                            I thought I was losing really slowly .. but decided to go back to my old fitday from the first time I did Atkins.. and all I have to say is WOW!!! does my body remember what this is all about.. to date I have lost exactly the same amount I did the first time in 4 weeks time. It was very reassuring to see!

                            Shinning ..I know how you feel! I love to see even the slightest drop in my weight on the scale .. and hate going by measuring myself

                            Sandy - I know it's hard...but, you lost 37 lbs already so you clearly have the motivation, willpower and desire to do this ..keep at it .. even if you fall back sometimes (it happens to all of us).. just continue to move forward.. you CAN do it!!

                              Hug - hope that finger heals quickly - I hate doing that!!! And I'm usually a clutz and do it a lot...

                              Hr - congrats on the scale movement!! WOO HOO!!!! I actually cheered for you outloud here - LOL

                              Sandy - girlfriend just take a moment (yep only a moment) and write down what you are eating.... it gets you thinking and then also try listing for yourself in a book no one else ever has to see WHY you want to lose the weight! For some reason when I wrote stuff down it helped "center" it <?> I guess and made a difference.

                              Well - now my son has a cold and is feeling bad so we are having another day of rest so they are ready to go to the "pool/pizza party" held on Friday night at the local rec center (ok - it's so hubby and I can have a date night).... so school is being set aside some this week for now.

                              I started my morning trying out my new blender with a protein shake (super yummy).... and can't wait for lunch to have a steak sandwhich sans bread and a salad!
