    Good Morning Stacers!

    Hope you all have a wonderful day planned! I'm off to the in-laws for another Turkey Day dinner. Have some friendly foods packes for myself. Have the willpower to resist the kick-a$$ dressing MIL makes...it just isn't worth it. Today is day 25 CHEAT FREE & dressing isn't going to blow it! Actually I'm not going to blow it.

    Morning everyone! Another pound gone forever!!! What a great morning wake up! So 22 pounds are off of this body and I am loving it

    I bought new coffee yesterday from a local guy who owns the coffee plantation in South America and roasts it up here - oh it's so yummy and smooth!!

    I made ground venison chili last night (really quick and simple recipe) and put it on top of a huge salad - perfect dinner for me last night - warming and filling. Can't wait to have some for lunch today.

    Wierd dream last night of buying and testing out exercise equipment - LOL.

    Well off to get another cup of coffee and figure out plans for today with my husband who just walked in the door

      Good morning people! I am back from the chilly West Virginia mountains. Great trip, and I am so glad to be back! Too many foods I had to sit around! Too many people eating all the time, me included...allllllll legal, just too much food! I keep a clean kitchen, legal-wise so that was quiet an eye opening thing to be around so many people, eating so many carbs, happily...
      I did take note as we were leaving our brother in law's beautiful cabin, house in the resort golf club surroundings, that He had dug out a copy of the Atkins diet.....I smiled to myself...He wants what I have!
      Both BIL and SIL sat me down and asked about my dramatic changes...they've not seen in in 4 yrs. I explained it's just good eating and exercise and focus! Daily consistent focus, working with a diet my body really likes.....simple stuff for all of us really, and yet sooooo HARD! Consistency, committment, focus and follow through....
      Hope everybody is getting along well. Stay focused....we can do this!

        Good morning, all!

        Well, I am CERTAINLY being rewarded for my patience and confidence during my one-month stall. Another pound gone! I'm one pound away from 200. It's a great, great feeling.

        I'm really glad that during my stall, I didn't play around. I didn't eliminate anything, because I'd not added anything new for the prior two weeks. I didn't get too frustrated, I didn't consider a fat fast or a binge, and I didn't lower calories. I just waited. This is a real lesson for me.

        Interesting that it happened just after I'd lost my first 30 lbs. I wonder if this is going to be a pattern of some sort- I'll just have to see!

        What HAS happened is that I'm suddenly shedding hair like CRAZY. I've been expecting it - it happened both other times when I got close to a 35 lbs. loss. I just keep brushing, and carefully clearing the shower drain, lol. I have soooo much hair that it matters not one whit, and I know that as soon as the hair comes out, new hair is starting to grow.

        Today is a schoolwork day. Yesterday (oh, ketosis, how you work!) I started doing a light housecleaning, then decided to move some furniture to really get vacuumed and mopped underneath...........and before I knew it, I was two hours into a major re-arranging of the furniture in the living, dining, and computer area! ROFLMAO! Usually I PLAN this (I do it several times a year) but not yesterday! It just sorta.....happened.

        Anyway, the house looks fantastic - ready for the holidays. But I got NO classwork done, so today I have to hit the books.

          HeyThere Everyone just checking in early Sunday afternoon to see how everyone is doing ......... I hope all is well and your weekends were restful and fun!

          We are moving things around getting ready to put up the Christmas tree ........... busy busy!

          Thanksgiving was semi successful for me I ate legal but ate way to much add to that no excercise ....... and my scales are up 2 lbs to show it ......... At least I won't have any withdrawals to go through just pulling back the amounts I eat and kicking my butt back into excercise mode and making up for the challenge numbers I lost ........... ahhhhhhhhhh live and learn!

            Happy Sunday Gang,

            Some how I forgot to check in yesterday. I have had a pretty good holiday weekend. No major cheats. I have really been cooking up a storm so I am prepared....

            My C25K is coming along- the running is feeling good- I am staying on week 1 until I have no hip pain then I will move onto week 2. I have to stop my self from going to fast because I don't want to hurt my self. I am still strength training on top of it and swiming a couple of times a week.

            Evermind- I am so happy for you. I am also very close. It is so exciting. I personally haven't been this low since 2000. I know what you mean about the house work- Friday I started by washing my dog, then the spare bathroom was cleaned- floors swept & mopped. I am waiting for the Ketones to motivate me to paint the interior of my house but they keep saying "NO" we have to go to the gym....lol

            Jess- That is great spread the love I sometimes watch people eat and I can see the effects of their food addictions. My sis is hitting a wall every day working out and still eating all the empty calories not loosing anything and getting very frusterated. I really do plan on sending her a copy of Atkins with her Christmas presents.

            Wow Glenda another dinner. You rock.

            Heidi- have fun with the tree. We need to do ours- but I have no idea where to put it this year.

              I'm new here. This is my second post. I've restarted Atkins Induction today and am spending a quiet Sunday doing laundry and browsing the forums here.

                morning yall!!! i woke up this morning with TONS of energy....well, tons for having mono. but it was WAY more energy than i have had in the past 2 weeks, so i decided to go for another gentle walk in the sunshine...and ended up walking 6 miles! i am ready for a nap. but i also think my body is ready to get moving again and KICK this MONO to the curb!!!!

                so great to hear from you all. i forgot to post on thanksgiving day that i am thankful for ALL OF YOU for sharing my small successes, and picking me up when i stumble. to think that complete strangers can be so supportive of one another is AWESOME!! thanks!!

                  Well I have had a pretty good day so far. The weekend has been nice and I have not strayed a bit!! I feel thinner and I am glad I haven't given in during this "mini-stall"! I can't wait to weigh myself but I am going to in hopes that I see a big drop!! Well I just wanted to check in! Have great one everyone!

                    Hi,
                    Late check in tonight... I'm at work. Went to early church, then did some sewing, and then work... Having a nice quiet evening! (most likely due to football games going on.)
                    Well, no changes... still 172. Packed a good lunch which I guess I'll go eat.
                    I'm so happy to hear about the 1lb down Evermind! That's awesome!
