    Good Morning Everyone.. Figured I would start the Roll Call off since its 8:15am!

    I made it through yesterday CHEAT FREE WOO HOO... It wasn't too hard but today and tomorrow will be my hardest..

    One thing I NEED to do is clean my purse out.. I have Bugles in there...a No Bake Cookies and Peanut Butter Crackers...lol

    I am going to the grocery store today to get a few things so I have to really stretch my money.

    Got a call today that the Pool is closed at the Y because of some kind of leak. I hope its fixed for tomorrows class.

    Only have 8lbs to go to get back to my lowest weight

    Morning, all!

    Sandy - I know what you mean about stretching that dollar. I'm spending SOOOO much on groceries now. All of those fresh veggies are not cheap. I shudder to think how much I spend on spaghetti squash alone.............eeek!

    Congrats on the cheat-free day. DEFINATELY clean out your purse, girl! yikes!

    Today I'm back to work after my car accident. I woke up this morning incredibly stiff still, and my hip hurts, but I think once I start moving around I'll be ok. I do not want to take pain meds and/or muscle relaxants at school. Big no-no. But I am taking a rice bag to heat in the microwave if I need heat.

    Yesterday I did some cooking for the week, though not a ton because of my back and hip pain. Still, I have enough to get lunches done thru Wednesday, so packing lunches this morning was a breeze. It's all about planning, huh!

        Hi everyone.

        Great morning for me, work up early from a nightmare about zombie’s and three headed Dobermans, so I had extra time on the treadmill. Broke the 2 mile mark.

        Over the past two weeks I’ve been doing a lot of research about how healthy this lifestyle is and I can’t believe it. I never realized how important it is what we eat and drink.

          Hey BiVi, fill us in on HOW healthy this diet IS! We love that stuff. I've actually been sitting here re-reading in my DANDR book. Getting back to the WHY every once in a while helps me alot....I know the WHAT and have learned the WHEN....but WHY I eat low carb past the part where it really works for me, the WHY at a deeper physiological level....
          Refined and Processed foods and sugars are evil! They cause us to dump too much insulin, and then we wear out our insulin respectors and then our poor liver has to do something with all this bloodsugar stockpiling, since the insulin receptors wont' allow it in the cell....The liver converts it into fat...
          But while it's still sitting around we have all the symptoms of bloodsugar issues, tiredness and fatigue, moodiness, and brain fog.....
          Well, that's what I am chewing on after working out this morning.

            Morning everyone!

            Ever - hope you feel better! I hate being stiff and sore, I think that's more annoying than actual pain.

            Sandy - Way to go - I know you'll get to that weight in no time. Clean out the purse girl (from someone who found her daughters skittles in hers this morning)

            I'm off to get my hair cut today - husband is freaking out - but it's been a year (yep a whole year) since anyone has cut my hair. He's afraid I'll get it cut off, but I just want bangs again and then have them trim the bottom.

            Then my mom is taking me to lunch for my b-day (no it's not today - it's Thursday). I've never been to this restraunt so it should be fun as they apparently have good food. I have to get semi-dressed up (I'm usually in jeans and a sweat shirt)

            The family members want pizza tonight - so we'll see. I will probably also make another one of those Spinach Lasagenas I got the from the recipe section - it was so good I had a small piece this morning for breakfast.

            I'm still hanging around the 160 mark - but more solidly on it if that makes any sense. So I expect to be 159 by Thursday which I really want.

            Got to go and clean up and figure out what I am going to wear - I can't find any of my sweaters!

              Morning Everyone! Congrats to everyone staying or getting back on track. I have been trying to get over a cold which is making me so tired on a Monday morning. Luckily I did lots of cooking yesterday so I have food to grab quickly. I hear what everyone one is saying about the cost of food. I swear I spend $500 a month on food (just for me) and it goes so quickly!

                I havent had the chance to post much lately.. but I do pop in and read up when I can.

                Glad to see everyone is either staying on track or getting back on track.

                It's easy to fall off the wagon .. but just as easy to hop back on

                Jess - I lost my copy of the book and was reconsidering ordering another one.. It's been a long long time since I read up!

                I added my new work-out goals for the month to my signature and will try to update daily goals.

                  Hi everyone!

                  Well we are having our first snow storm of the season today. They have been saying all weekend how big it was going to be so we were prepared. (They are predicting 12-18 inches!) The funny thing is when I woke up at 6am there was not a snowflake to speak of but all of the schools were closed! It was weird! I went back to bed and an hour and a half later we had 3 inches! I couldn't believe it!

                  Well I am on the atkins track and staying there! Have a good one eevryone!

                    I get most my stuff from here, but I did put a new one in the Main Forum this morning. I've been reading one I found here about exercise and diet and the very backward why American's seem to think. http://nymag.com/news/sports/38001/index1.html I love the part that goes:

                    But our bodies job is to:

                      Good Morning,
                      back from Tennessee... yeah! We had fun at my sil's... but it was tough staying legal and I did not...
                      So, getting back on the wagon today... looking forward to a great day of cleaning, laundry and walking, riding my bike and situps and pushups and ...
                      Going to start pushing myself harder exersize wise...
                      We had so much rain while we were gone there's mud all over our driveway! So have to clean that up! It must've been a gullywasher!
                      TOM is visiting... which is lovely as usual... cramps bloating etc...
                      Having my coffee and watching my dog snore on the floor beside me.
                      I do feel rested from our vacation...

                        Good Morning STAC'ers,

                        Happy Monday. I had a pretty good weekend- except a slight blip yesterday (salmon dip with ritz crackers) Ritz crackers are not on my list of approved foods, but I only had 5 and it was only 10 carbs.

                        I am deffinatley getting a head cold. Stuffy head and itchy eyes with a nice sinus head ache to help me feel it even more. I don't know if I will be weight training today definately not doing the C25K session.

                        Very Cool Stuff bivium.

                          good Morning!!

                          I hate Mondays!!! LOL Who doesn't. I know I have posted in different threads... or should I say "whined" in different threads.. I don't get why my scale is not moving!!! Today is day 15.. I lost 6lbs in the first week and have gone back up down 1 back up 2 down 1 but never to the original loss point of the 6lbs!!! It is soooooo frustrating... I know I know.. how do you feel? Have you measured.... It's hard coming here and seeing all these people lose .. which is great.. it's inspiring.. just don't get why I can' lose!! ARRGGHHHH!!!!

                              ^ I lost tons my first week and didn't lose any more for three weeks. Now the scale goes down every week, but I'm sure I'll hit another stall before long.
