You guys are awesome! I so enjoyed reading all your posts today! You inspire me so much!
Keep the change! Thanks, I will!!! and put in in the bank, invest, some and watch it grow into amazing wealth of luxurious living... as Dr. Atkin's refers to this life we've embarked upon! Then, I think I'll give some away! There is so much need for it out there isn't there! What we got, you just can't buy!
I'm having a great day. I invited myself to join some women who are walking 5 miles/day 4 day/week... I'm really exited and also a little scared I won't be able to keep up with them... which is silly of me! It's supposed to rain tomorrow, but they aren't fair weather walkers... so I gotta get out my rain gear! lol! I am thrilled because this is exactly what I need... buddies to walk with. I really prefer LONG walks, but am so bored with my 3 mile circuit... I'm thinking this will be awsome!!
Went to lunch with a friend today, and did well except had a few tortilla chips... darn me anyways. but forging ahead... had a delicious chicken salad that was completely legal... and water. Am going out soon for my walk... also went to my women's group this morning... and have been cleaning again... For some reason I want the house to look really nice when my dd gets home.
Tomorrow my dd comes home from her semester abroad... I miss her so much! Have to drive to LA in the rain and in the traffic to get her though... after the walk...
Thanks for all your inspiration today! Have a good one!

I've been on and off of Atkins for 5+ years. (mostly off while pregnant)
Since I'm not planning on having anymore children of the corn, I shouldn't have to get off again!
I will say that I have fantastic wilpower - when I say I'm going to do something, I do it. I have been back on Atkins since September 8 and have not cheated, not once. Sounds great, eh? I've only lost 17lbs so far - the first time around, I lost 30lbs in 3 months. I know that everytime you re-start Atkins, your body fights this WOL. I am determined to get to where I want to be - even though I have only lost 1 lb in a month and a half. I'm a little discouraged, but not going to give up.
I exercise a lot. I try to get in around 30min cardio (either elliptical, or running) and I alternate between weightlifting and pilates. I feel great, but I'm a total slave to the scale. I really need to get it through my head that muscle weighs more than fat - easier said than done
I would really like a bootie you can bounce quarters off from. Someday, I'll be able to give my hubby a roll of quarters... ha!
