I'll get us started!! I am doing good. I have gone up about a pound but I think I need to pick up the water again. I have slacked in the last week or so and I need to get back to drinking my 100 oz a day. Lately I have been lucky to get in 32 oz.

Well, I'm still here. lol. Scale says 203, which is 3 lbs up from my low, and absolutely nothing has changed in my eating habits or anything, so I'm just going to keep going and treat this as a second long plateau. Or maybe it's the same stall, broken by one whooshie. I dunno.
What I DO know is that I'm doing the right thing, eating wise. I can't exercise, but that doesn't seem to be the culprit, since I was stalled long before the car accident. I'm not cheating, my calories are within the level of my bmi, my carbs are fine, fat is high, and I think my body is just determined to hover here for awhile longer.
I have one week and two days left before winter vacation starts (and then I'll have a month off! whoopie!). Today is the last day of university classes for me and it's going to be a long, long day. I sort of feel like EVERYTHING in my life is hovering at this high stress point, and that maybe in a week I'll be in a better place, able to relax and release - even release some weight, who knows?
My point? Well, the ONLY thing I can do is take really good care of myself right now, and have no expectations of any drastic changes. Just nurture myself thru the next 9 days or so until I can really unwind. I can take care of myself by getting rest as best as possible, eating the right foods, and thinking positive thoughts. No sense in beating myself up because my body won't drop some weight - my body won't respond positively to THAT! No sense in eating outside of the plan, because that will make me feel lousy physically as well as emotionally. Nope, the thing to do is treat myself like an athlete in the final stages of a marathon - just keep encouraging myself to do the last several laps before I can rest.
So, here goes!

Okay guys , I have been very bad in not exercising recently. I know exercise is non-negociable. I need a kick in a$$ to get me going. I have not gone off atkins, but I have not worked out in almost a week.

Oh what fun!! Ok - put on a pair of my "work jeans" this morning (holes in them etc). Last time I wore them it was tight to put on. Today - I can almost get them around my hips without undoing them! So even though the scale said 160 *which I expected because I ate a snack really late last night and it happens everytime I do that* I'm happy about it!
I need to finalize all my holiday stuff and make sure I have everything for everyone. I'm still stuck on my mom - but that's ok I can always figure something out for her.
Need to make more casserole type things tonight for dinner or at least make to freeze because I am out of my quick "grab and heat" lunches. I have a lot to do today and I know my husband knows it and knows I am tired from waiting up for him last night (he got home around 12:30am from work) - he made me a pot of coffee

Gotta love that we burn fat and our shape and clothes sizes change before the scales say it, sometimes....so we are almost continually making progress regardless of the scale...clothing gets bigger and bigger where it use to shrink, and shrink...tighter and tighter...I applaud your AWARENESS of change....
Scales only tell one tale...
Measuring is a key with a ketogenic diet! We melt fat and build muscle and the scales will reflect NO CHANGE, when in fact we are changing significantly!!!

Good Morning!
I'm heading into day two today. Yesterday went great. I did have the afternoon sugar craving but I managed to battle it back with a piece of cheese. My goal for today is to get more water in.

Morning all!
The little kiddies got us up at 5:00 this morn - FUN! I feel pretty good - a little sore. Today is my day off from the gym. I have a lunch with some pals I used to work with - really looking forward to some laughs
Weighed in at 116.5 - Just doing the hover - it kills me. I guess as long as I'm firming up and seeing some change, I shouldn't complain, right?
Tomorrow I'm going to attempt to take a new class at the gym - either BOSU conditioning, or Spin 1. We shall see!

Busy day for me, work all day then I'm going to see I Am Legend tonight at midnight then back to work 8 tomorrow morning. I love midnight movies!!
No workout tomorrow morning, I normally take Saturday or Sunday off so I'll just work both this weekend. This morning was great, I split my strength training from 2 sets of 12 to 4 sets of 6.10/18 ~ 240 Start1st Goal ~ 220 Done2nd Goal ~ 200 Done

I got up this morning and did my pilates again, crunches, and pushups but I am struggling with getting on the treadmill after work. I just wish it would come easier but the afternoons are so busy with getting ready for christmas....

Doing well on my diet... This morning, I wore a pair of pants that was very tight last month... except this time, it not only fitted nicely, I had some wiggle room too! Very happy about that...
Just received an invitation for my team's group lunch, and the organizer specifically asked me to leave Mr. Atkins at work, as we are going to an Italian restaurant... LOL
Any suggestions on what I can have to make my department lunch induction-friendly?
