    Morning all. i overdid it yesterday with the salt and the cheese and the cream. All legal food but way too much. i should not have even gotten on the scale as i knew what i would see. i know it's water weight but up 3 lbs in a day sucks. Weekends are hard on all of us it seems but you know like jess said, we have to remember why we are doing this. I went to a party Saturday night, alcohol and mexican food. i brought some salad greens and had a nice taco salad instead of all the carby foods that were being offered. When people asked me if i had tried their dish i asked them for the recipe to distract them and find out if it was something i should be trying. Saved me on a few things that seemed innocent enough. Anyway, i am drinking a ton of water today in the hope to flush all the extra away and get back to losing!!!!

      Good Morning Everyone,

      This is day 6 for me and I am breezing along. I am feeling really good. I am noticing my stomach flattening out. Carbs are no good for me and they effect me negatively in so many ways. I have been feeling a bit tired the last couple days but I know it will pass.

      I hope that it is just something minor with your car and your husbands fix did the trick for you. Keep holding on and hanging in!

        Hey everyone - yeah I'm late... but last night decided I would allow myself a little indulgence at the cookie party. Didn't eat the cookies - but allowed myself a small 1/2 sandwhich and some wine. No weight problem and I'm doing ok today - went right back to eating right. Ran late this morning as the Redskin game didn't end until late and then of course I wanted to talk when I got home - LOL.

        We went shopping today and took the kids to pizza hut (they have a "BOOKIT" reading program we participate in and the kids read to earn food) luckily they had chicken wings so I had those - and I don't eat off salad bars so I skipped that. I plan on having just a HUGE salad tonight for dinner - I'm not really hungry and need to get rid of yesterday but not feeling guilty about it at all.

        I should have bought a belt when we were out today - especially since jeans were $32 ON SALE for the ones I like - give me a break people!!! (can you tell I am not a shopper?) But when I got home I got a package of yoga pants I ordered on eBay (2 for $34 including shipping from Thailand).... and being 5ft tall they are usually always long and these fit perfect. My husband just shook his head and almost laughed - but they are very comfy and I'll take them!

        Have a great night - we are all playing a video game as a family as soon as we get it loaded

          i'm checking in....it's time to get the kids to bed so i'll check in in the morning....down to 194 from 199.5...... thank God for the synthroid!!!! now if i could just get rid of the headache!!!!!!
