    I asked myself what can I be enthusiastic about? I can be enthusiastic about this WOE. I can be enthusiastic about finding something that makes me feel great, gives me energy, helps me lose weight & inches, improves my overall health & has brought me a great group of friends!!

    i am here and ready to confidently face another day. again, lol.....not gonna get on the scale again until jan 2nd because i have been far from perfect. but the song remains the same with my exercise challenges....and come january i am adding more. i have been very interested as of late in nutrition and the various vitamins that come from the foods we eat. i am also considering taking a multivitamin everyday.....i currently do not do that.

    does anyone else take some kind of multivitamin?

      chris, i do take a multi as well as some other vitamins. CRUCIAL!!! highly recommend.

      yesterday was a successful first day of reinduction, my mouth is watering at all the choices i have for today!! planning on bacon/egg/mushroom omelette for breakfast, leftover roast beef and salad for lunch, and maybe some cut up veggies/dip and burrito without the tortilla for dinner. bought some fresh salsa and made guacamole last night to go with my carnitas!

        Morning everyone!

        Chris, I take a multivitamin, B-complex, & a Mega EFA thing. I got them all from Vitacost. The multi was designed for low-carb diets.

        Well, I slept a little better last night but not much, even with taking a nighttime sleep/pain pill. I'm not sure what I've done to my back but it has been getting SUPER tight at night causing the morning to be awful. It hurts to sit and it hurts to stand. Not fun. So I think I'll take it easy today and see if I can stretch it out some.

        Weight didn't change - and I'm not shocked at all..... mainly because I didn't eat my veggies yesterday cause I didn't want to cook anything and I always stay the same when I have no veggies.

        I'm off - I need to figure out how to lift the feed bags this morning and go let out the animals and check to see if we have any new baby lambs.

          good morning everyone! I have new motivation to work out today.
          I am looking forward to either going to the gym or running all bundled up in the cold.
          good luck in your exercising today. Its non-negotiable. And I have been trying to negotiate the past week

            Good Morning everyone!

            Well I so wanted to start a clean induction yesterday, but it ijust did not happen. I am bummed about that but C'est La Vie! I am on track this morning and raring to go! I am drinking my water today and that is going to be my best friend. When I get craving I am going to drink them away! I know I can do this. I just need to push through these first tough 3-4 days and then I know it is smooth sailing. HAve a great one everybody!

              Good Morning everyone!!!!!! I am exhausted but so happy today! Courtney had her baby last night. She is a perfect Miracle and we are all feeling so thankful and so blessed! Her name is Alyssa Grace and she is here and healthy and perfect in everyway!!!!! Thank-you to all of you who prayed for her over the months during Courtney's pregnancy. God definitly heard our prayers and answered with miraculous power. I have more pictures in my journal and tons on my dropshots account if your interested.

                TOM got me up at 3:30 so I did my treadmill mile....on track with my eating plan. I stuck to plan yesterday except I'm begining to suspect that nuts are a trigger for me - gonna back off of them and see. The scale was down this morning but I'll wait a few days to accept the new number.

                Chris, I take a multi plus other supplements - Fitday lets you determine how much of your RDA amount you're getting from food - then you can adjust from there according to your personal needs.

                Dana, hope your back eases up - those 50# feedbags always get my back's attention too.

                off to do the barn chores and then make up for TOM's slacking yesterday.

                    Congratulations Grandma!

                    I "take" a multi-vitamin from The Vitamin Shoppe that's green and has no iron. I actually don't really take it, I just remind myself alot and forget alot. Gotta work on that.

                    I was sure today would be the day, because I weighed myself before bed (what kind of crazy person weighs themself before bed??) but alas, this morning I weighed 200.0lbs. It's gotta happen one of these days, right?

                    My dd has a fever so I'm home from work this morning. I like it! She's not terribly sick and playing with her new toys. I have to go into work this afternoon because my boss is buying a holiday lunch for us. He knows that I do low carb and he does too sometimes, so I think that instead of his usual pizza, he might get take-out from a Lebanese restaurant. I just have to avoid the bread and the rice, and the rest is yummy!

                      Oh darling your not alone!!!!!!! This crazy woman weighs herself every night before bed so the morning weigh in won't be a suprise! I can almost predict what my morning weight will be by what I weight before bed! Yes I am an addict!

                        This addiction can work for you or against you...If it leads to frustration and discouragement THATS a negative impact, but if it leads to vigilance and an awareness devoid of denial, it can be considered very helpful....
                        The trick is to find a way to motivate and empower ourselves in a positive progressive way...

                          Morning!!!

                          It is cold and snowy in Colorado this morning - think I'll stay in for most of the day.

                          I weighed in at 113.5 - I lost another pound! That Body Pump class that I took yesterday totally kicked my hiney.

                          Heidi - Congrats on your new Grand Baby- she's beautiful!

                          Tonight the fam and I are going to the gym - don't know what I'll be doing yet....

                              Chica, sorry your backs out...

                              Okay... I had a very successful 1st day of induction yesterday! Yeah! I'm so happy! I made it through without cheating! I said to a co worker in the break room... 'I would pick the hardest day to start again...' as the tables were laden with goodies, and carb junk.... somehow I stayed strong and resisted temptation and am I ever glad I did.... I feel better today too... the scale rewarded me too with a 1.4lb loss... yeah.

                              I'm supposed to go to the Chiropractor pretty soon, then my dh and I are spending the day together... visiting friends and hopefully catching a movie... could be hard at our friend's house... planning on bringing some cheeze and veggies to share... that way I'll have something safe to eat... sigh!

                              Okay! day 2 induction... here we go.
