I have been surfing this website for some time and as I stated in the beginners forum, I finally decided to register. This is my second time on the Atkins diet. I started Atkins in 2003 after reading the book. I believed this diet would be beneficial to me after suffering from high blood pressure at a young age. My starting weight was 215 pounds. I lost 30 pounds, although my goal was to loose 50 pounds. I maintained that weight up until recently.
I started Atkins once again on 12-20-2007 weighing 210 pounds. My goal is still to loose 50 pounds. Although I never made it to this before, I know that with encouragement and hard work, I will accomplish this goal once and for all. As of today, I weigh 200 pounds. Yes, I have lost 10 pounds.
I am so excited, I enjoy all of the food I am allowed to eat. Any help is greatly appreciated.
