  • Shouldn't I feel worse?

Hi all. I am on Day 2 of induction and I am feeling ok - I'm a little tired, but other than that I feel pretty good. I'm just a bit worried because the other 2 times I did induction I had the worst headaches and felt completely rundown, so shouldn't I feel this way this time? I'm doing everything by the book so I am worried that I don't feel bad enough. I know that probably sounds crazy, but I really want this to work. Any advice would be great.

Maybe since you have detoxed before, your body is a bit use to the process. I want to encourage you to read in the DANDR book, pg 213 and 214. This also might provide some great guidance for induction.

I usually don't feel bad until the 2nd week..... sometimes though it's just a tired feeling.

          Re: Shouldn't I feel worse?

I didn't feel bad at all, when I re-started in February. Not everyone gets Induction Flu... I've never had it. I've read where some people who didn't have it the first time, did have it on the second time. I'm sure it is entirely possible that just because you had it the first time, doesn't necessarily mean you will the second time.

As long as you're going by the book, I think you should be fine, since you're "symptom", is not feeling bad.

          Good luck!

I didn't feel anywhere near as awful as I did starting out this time. Icky, but not totally awful. Last 2 times around (May & Sept) I was 100% totally miserable, headaches, body aches, fever - it was TERRIBLE. This time around, I had a nasty headache for a little over a day, tired, night sweats and dull body ache that kept me awake for a night and then I felt better. Today I'm feeling good, no aches & pains and my energy is back.
