Hi all. Was wanting some advice about using Linda's recipes during induction. Some of the recipes that she has indicated are suitable for the induction phase contain ingredients that are not specifically allowed, such as soy sauce. I would love to try them but don't want to mess up my hard work. Has anybody used them during induction? Any feedback would be great.

Re: Linda's recipes
Linda knows the plan. If she has marked a recipe as being induction friendly, then it is induction friendly.
However it's up to you to make sure the recipes work with and fit in with your eating plan for any given day. So, for example, eating 2 or 3 cheesy dishes from the site in a day may well take you over your cheese allowance, or a dessert might put you above your allowed servings of sweetner for the day.
It's also up to you to figure out if a recipe contains ingredients that are a problem for you - that stall you, make you overeat or induce cravings.
While something like soy sauce is not on the list of induction foods, it's not a thing you are going to have much of - a little goes a long way - and as long as you were using it only occasionally I would not be concerned about it.Kate

Re: Linda's recipes
Linda does have great recipes and she marks the ones that are induction friendly. If you can't have something because you are not on that rung yet, change the recipe to incorporate what you can have. As already mentioned, you have to pay attention to servings of cheese and what your body will handle versus someone else.
I've used low sodium soy sauce in moderation and have had no problems.
Let us know how it is going! You'll love the recipes and so easy!!

Re: Linda's recipes
Good Morning everyone! The cold snap has finally gone away and it is a balmy 15 degrees here in lovely North Dakota. Let me tell you compared to -10, this is a heat wave.
Well I made it through my first day of induction. I will have to say the headache was there by 9pm and this morning I felt really sick. Even getting my eggs down this morning was a challange. I dont think I had this induction flu thing as bad or I just dont remember it being this bad last time.
I took some Advil and swallowed as much of my breakfast down as I could. I am feeling a little better now.
I do recall the fourth day of induction last time around. I remember feeling wonderful - this is the feeling I am waiting for...by Sat. I should feel great.
Good luck to everyone today - stay strong.
