  • 3/4 into my first day of induction

Into my first day of induction, for the second time (at least second time taking it seriously)

I totally did not bring enough food to work. I really need to prepare ahead. In fact, after lunch (tuna fish, celery, cheese stick) I went out and bought some brocolli and some bleu cheese. Feel a little better.

2007 has been the worst year of my life, and with this year, I gained 40 lbs. The weight gain has just made everything else that has made 2007 suck, suckier. How does one gain 40 lbs?! It's seems impossible, but I sure did it!

Is there a thread on antidepressents and atkins?

Thursdays are usually bowling league/beer night. So tonight, it's just bowling for me. I am almost one day closer to being thin

It's nice to be back lurking, and posting on this board. Although, I may do it more than I should while I'm at work

Carly - welcome back into your new healthy way of eating! Me too - I'm on day 7 and already feeling so much better, mentally and physically!

I bring in items to work and have a drawer that is mine in the fridge, I guess it depends on what you have at work. I keep tuna packets or cups in my drawer and mayo in the fridge with a bowl at work, sometimes frozen veggies in the freezer and I make up hamburger mixtures etc and bring two into work because I never know when I'll be hungier. If I don't eat it that day, no big deal, I have extra surplus. If I do, then I'm prepared. It has helped tremendously!

Lots of water will get you through the day!

I look forward to your posts!

Welcome back dewdropinn. 2001 was the worst year of my life and its hard to bounce back right away, but once you get the big ball of momentum going it gets so much easier.
I wish you the best and there are tons of encouraging people here.
      There is a thread called:

Doing good - day 5. At the dr's office on Tuesday I weighed 211, but my scale at home said 207 on Wed. I am going to change my stats to my home scale since that is the one i will frequent.

Welcome Carly! I know it is very easy to gain 40 pounds in a year because I did it too! But almost four months in I have taken more than half off so stick with it because I know you'll be a success.
