    Glenda, thank you so much for reminding us that every single thing we put into our bodies, is our choice. Honestly, it is scary how mindless my eating used to be... I somehow thought, that if something yummy was in front of me, I had no choice, but to eat it. That's not true! Everything is a choice.

    I loved all of the posts this morning. I wish I had time to respond to them all... I am so proud of each of you, and happy to get to know you better.

      I just had to connect with you for a moment, as I am also 5' 2.5", and re-started Atkins on 2/25/07 at 187 pounds. Good for you, for making the decision to change your life for the better, by finding your way back to Atkins. Discard all of those "one golden shot" theories you may have heard... that you can never have the success you once had, once you have fallen away from your first success on Atkins. I have done better this time around, than I ever have before. Just do it by the book, stick close to the board, and post often.

      So, no more crying! The success you experience on Atkins, will carry over into other parts of your life. Atkins is about more than just food... you will develop discipline, patience, and confidence. It's a great way of life.

      2008 is going to be a great year for all of us!

        Thank goodness it is Friday! Even though I have had a short week I am ready for the weekend. Must go grocery shopping and stock up on the veggies. My scale just refuses to go down but that's okay...I can wait it out.

          Morning all! I had a few minutes and thought that I would check in. I caved and ate Christmas dinner and now I'm back on track as well as five days into Slim in 6. Every time I cheat, it makes me feel horrible just all over. I had a headache immediately after Christmas dinner and my energy level plummeted. I didn't want to do anything and I felt sick. Isn't it amazing how great this WOL makes us feel? I got back on track two days later and I felt so much better. Now I feel great! Hope all of you had wonderful holidays!!

            Good morning STACers! Sounds like there are some great things happening around here! Ketosis is kicking in, we're feeling spunky, full of energy and ready to tackle the day! I am going to EXERCISE today. I'm going to try something NEW in my active life. Spin Class at lunch hour at the gym. I brought my clothes, I brought my lunch and you all help with providing the motivation! YAY.

                  Goodmorning everyone...

                  I am finally starting to feel like I am not a mindless eating machine like I have been for a long time. Support here hasn't always been sincere but this morning when dropping off her children, my sister showed up with a pound of my favorite...Havarti cheese as apposed to here usual box of chocolate treats. That little gesture of no chocolate or junk here has a huge impact on whether I cheat or not. I have to control my home food environment and have everyone realize how much it affects my success at all this.

                  Well congrats to all of you and cheers to sheepe and many others.

                    Good morning everyone! I just wanted to check in before I go to the doctor in a little bit. Today is day 3 for me...2 whole days of being cheat free! I wanted a muffin soooo bad last night. DH asked what was wrong, and I told him, expecting him to tell me it was ok, I could eat a muffin and start again in the morning. He always does that. But he didn't! He said he was taking the muffins to work and giving them to the guys, and that he would go to the store for me if there was something in particular that was legal that I wanted. But no muffins! So I pouted for awhile, and am so glad this morning that he didn't tell me I could cheat because I'm down another 1.6 pounds this morning. I'll sure be glad when ketosis kicks in so these cravings will go away!

                      Woke up this morning feeling very puffy - sure enough, weighed in at 115 - Totally put me in a foul mood. Although I know it's water retention, it still sucks wind...
                      I have BOSU class this morning and probably a whole lotta nothing for the rest of the day...

                          Good morning all. Day 4 of induction, and I'm feeling great. I've registered for some of the excercise challenges, set my first mini goal, and have a target to strive for. I'm having friends over for dinner tomorrow night, so I'm rummaging through my low carb receipe book for some "legal" stuff. They won't even know their eating low carb! Back to work now!

                              Hi all!

                              Cheri, it's my second day back after break, too. I am freaking exhausted. I needed about 4 more weeks of vacation.

                              I'm back down to Rung 3, and feeling much better. I was letting in too many high rung foods, or at least, eating them too often over Christmas break. I've been letting go of a lot of water (that's a euphemism for peeing constantly) but I'm not weighing until February. At this point, my progress is slow because I'm close to goal, so I don't see the point in weighing very often--besides, that's the best way to kick my scale addiction!
