Hello, I am here to give this another (and final) attempt. I started Atkins in May 2006. By September I had lost 22 pounds and was feeling good. Then I got sick with pneumonia and gave up Atkins and it was all down hill from there.
So here I am a little more than a year later and 20 pounds heavier.
I have tried so many different things to lose this weight but nothing works like Atkins. I am a slow loser but I have decided that I am ok with that. I have also come to the realization that I am a food addict. I don't think that I will initially have problems staying with this WOE but when tough times hit, I am going to have to really work at staying focussed.
I've set some goals for myself and I am going to try my best to stick to them. So here goes:
1) I will not cheat (not even a little)
2) I will find a way to work exercise into my day
3) I will read the book again
4) I will not be afraid to move up the rungs like I was last time.
5) I will not be a slave to the scale. I will measure every 2 weeks instead.
So here goes - off to make some eggs for breakfast.
