  • STAC January 12/13 "One Good Thing" challenge

    Ok, folks. Everyone's been working REALLY hard to get on track or back on track after the holidays.

    It's time to do one nice thing for ourselves.

    MY CHALLENGE: Today or tomorrow, do one nice thing for yourself and yourself only. Something decadent or nurturing. Might be a mani or pedi or both, or buying yourself a little trinket, or an hour of yoga or stretching. Could be a motorcycle ride in the country, or coffee with a good friend you haven't seen in awhile.

    Do it. Report it here. doing it is a reward in itself, so you will automatically be a winner!

    I'm so all over this one

    Last night I had a slammin Starbucks tall sugar free carmel decaf americano with 1/2 & 1/2. Hubby and I looked at books and had coffee - was so nice! (until the kids went crazy...)

    Later on this afternoon, I'm going for a Seaweed Body Wrap & Massage at the spa - 60 minutes of bliss!!!

        I took myself to Starbucks for a kid-sized sugar-free mocha latte, and sat in the sun and read for an hour. It was blissful! Sun, a book, and coffee - what else does a person need to make life complete?

          Not sure if this counts, but I left dh to put the kids to bed while I went for a walk in the rain last night. I should be doing it all the time, but it did seem a bit selfish.

            Please tell me Starbucks doesn 't really sell coffee to kids (i wouldn't put is past them LOL)? is that just a nickname for a small coffee?

            This is a great idea, I'll have to think of something for myself!

              LOL. No, it's the cup they use for kids who want hot chocolate! I think it's called a "short" by some barristas.

                Saturday - I went and got new glasses, haircut and then dyed my hair.. Went into the office and got WONDERFUL comments!! Couple people said the haircut and color made me look ten years younger.. YAY

                  Does this qualify...I'm going shopping on Wednesday with my mom & DD & then we are going out to dinner.
