    Morning, all!

    Well, I'm up earlier than usual when on vacation, but I had a good sleep, and feel good. The scale is down another lb., which means only 4 more until I hit 200 again. Then, we'll see if I start really losing and getting down below 200! To me, that will be a sign that my 2 month stall is over.

    Last night dd and I had a good workout at the gym. Legs and shoulders. Killer legs, and today I'm feeling it in my thighs and lower back - a good soreness, and it will diminish as I warm up. I will probably go for a run this morning, and then this evening HopeJoy and I are set for water aerobics again - woo hoo!

    Spirit - Hang in there. I've been in your situation since the beginning of November. It's frustrating, if you keep focussing on the scale. If, on the other hand, you pay attention to how you FEEL, and how you are enjoying the FOOD, it is bearable. And patience is the key. If you need to have a meltdown, this board is the place. The refrigerator is NOT the place!

    Biv - I am so excited for you! I'm on the verge of size 14, but not quite. I can't wait until I hit size 12! You're doing soooo well!!!!

      Thanks Evermind. I have had you in my thoughts as i have been dealing with this. i know if you can do this cheat free in spite of the stall i know i can too. I have been wishing for the wooshie fairy for you.

        Spirit--I know how you feel with the scale this morning! Frustrating to be eating on plan and working out but not see it reflected on the evil thing.

        I'm back to 165 according to the scale /sigh. Hoping it has more to do with water retention or something from working out rather than my body just deciding to drive me insane :P. I refuse to let that derail me, cause I feel good this morning, like I'm really doing the right thing for myself.

          Hi everyone!
          Woke up feeling good this morning. My head feels clear again... after a month of headaches... I'm feeling well again and that feels sooooo good! Scales says 173.1.
          I had a fun day yesterday getting dd from the airport... and shopping at Trader Joes, breakfast at Coco's and power napping.
          Yesterday's challenge for me went great... the Football Banquet... they served the food buffet style... and when you ask them not to put rice on your place it's easy not to eat it! ha! Chicken and salad for me... no dessert... either... decaf coffee... it was really long though 4 hours!!!! but really a nice end to a great season! I was proud of my son all dress up in a jacket and tie... (sharp dressed man!) whew! What a great experience for them... and what great coaches... I feel blessed. Somehow we have such amazing people in our lives. How did that happen? Watching all the power point pictures and the Friday Lights Video... good times.. good times... what a bunch of lucky boys... they went to Maui in August as a team and then they win CIF Championship... (for their diviision) the school gave them a much nicer banquet too... and shirt, and extra little stuff... I especially liked all the gag gifts back and forth between the coaches and the kids... it was so funny.... the kids told lots of stories on the coaches and made fun of the head coach in some skits... pretty cute. The 4 hours went pretty quick actually.

          Anyways... sorry to go on and on...
          Today, is laundry, cleaning and cooking day for me and meeting Evermind for another starbucks and water aerobic workout! yeah!

            Hi Everyone...I haven't checked in for a while. Over the past week I have lost almost 3.5 pounds which is really good for me. I can't wait to be in the 170's.

              I am checking in.. Not doing well food wise..no money to go shopping with Its freezing here too..and I hate it..

              I am fixing fish tonight and was going to grill it but its too cold to do that...

                Cmon, Sandy! Hold fast. You can make good choices.. you can do it! Do the fish in the oven and help heat up the house You can do it! Hold fast! STressed? eat legal foods - you'll feel better. Stressed? Exercise - even marching in place work up the cardio! Stressed? Write, drawn.. talk, scream.. push the food away, it's only gonna make you feel worse! You have lost 16 already! Keep on keeping on, girlie!

                  Sandy, Rachel has a great point. Things in your life have been tremendously stressful but losing control of your eating will only make things worse. Getting that in check will actually give you something to hold on to. You know way back when i first started this WOE i was smoking, in an abusive marriage, a nail biter and a slob. Getting control of my eating actually gave me a solid thing to stabalize my life. I quit smoking, left my husband, quit biting my nails, got a huge promotion at work and cleaned up my life. Since then i have bought a house, gotten involved in a great relationship, and maintained a clean house and continued with my job. Whenever my life feels out of control i take a look at my eating and generally whenever i let the eating the rest does too. I find it pretty interesting.

                      Good evening, checking in late here. Nasty headache all day today, not sure why... staying on track and feeling good otherwise. Took the kiddos out this morning and pushed my almost 40lb son in his stroller through Walmart, he's a good workout lol.

                        Checking in. Congrats to everyone who is losing. To those who have hit a bump in the road, this too shall pass. Stick with it.

                        Seems like lots of people are having headaches. I wonder what the deal is? I am on day 9 with my headache. Nothing seems to kick it out. I hope it goes away soon (and takes a few pounds with it!).

                        I am trying to stay scale free until Sunday. I am also going to measure again on Sunday. We'll see what happens. I am not sure if I want to buy Ketostix or not. I had a tendency to really allow them to make or break my mood the last time around. I think if I am losing. I'll be ok.
