    Beating stress

Ugh, today was a very stressful day. Hubby comes home daily for lunch and I just wanted to put my entire face in his pot of mac n cheese and inhale! Then I realized if I did that the cycle would start. You know.. the one where you eat to feel better and end up feeling like crud... so you eat to feel better and u just go round and round. WEll.. I resisted. My wonderful hubby just ate his lunch and listened to me moan and groan. After he left I realized I was actually feeling and explaining my emotions and not stuffing them down with food. Progress!! I firmly believe I need to get to the root of my eating and not just lose the weight.

and ya know what.. I didnt cheat so I feel really good.. and I was able to feel the emotions from a to z and release them! They are gone and will not need late-night stuffing of icecream or cookies to keep them under wraps!

I like that, "bad food solves nothing"...Rach, how is exercise going, you know you always feel more positive with you hit that gazelle!!!
DD and I just started an 8 wk program, the new fitness dude is peddling, "12 second Sequence"....It's tough stuff, basically you do exercises, very slowly to use all muscle fibers to exhaustion...I cannot imagine how I will feel when I wake up in the morning....Aerobic exercise is very different feeling than exhausting muscles....yikes.

You know me! One thing at a time. I've got the water down, the foods down.. next is the exercise. Lots going on in the family area.. but I'm staying true! I even whipped up a shake last night after getting home too late and the family having pizza! I wanted no part of that.. was true hunger.. and so I opted for the shake Which did the trick!
