    Good Morning Stacers!!

    Last night I realized what an impact our choices make in this WOE.
    I went out to dinner with DD after some retail therapy. I had a exceptionally bad day at work. For a fleeting moment I considered cheating. I had to step back & ask myself why?Rewarding/comforting myself with food is destructive behavior...a behavior I'm working on changing. While eating the food may have been enjoyable for that short time period the ending results would have been devastating both physically & emotionally. So I chose to eat Atkin friendly & stay on track!!!

    CHOICES...make some good ones today!

      Oz - Congrats on fighting the urge. I call that "talking myself off the ledge".

      I'm ready for another day of sticking with it. A friend at work got me the Atkins for Life kit. I had never heard of it. It has recipes, exercise tips, a mini carb counter that I can keep in my purse, and a whole bunch of other stuff. I am so excited to look at it later.

        Congrats on winning that personal battle!!! I didn't the other day...

        I was at my cousins 10th bday party and totally stayed on track - they had pizza, so I slid my toppings off and ate them and ditched the crust... then it was time for the cake, my aunt made two kinds (and she's like better than paula dean at cakes) and I went into the bathroom and I was looking in the mirror saying to myself "What size are you and what size do you want to be?! don't eat it."

        Regardless, I went out there an dafter watching everyone eat the cake for abotu 4 minutes, I caved.

        So, I think next time when I know sweets are going to be brought out - I'll either leave kindly or force myself to go in the other room until they're put away...

          Good morning! I think, hope, that I made two good decisions at the grocery store last night. I bought some chipotle mustard to spice things up and I bought some olives marinated in wine. I love nuts and I love wine, so I was good and didn't buy either one. I hope that the olives will squelch those cravings. Last night I had 3 olives and thought they were very satisfying.
