I thought that I was getting a really bad case of the induction flu, but now I think I just have the flu. I'm running a fever, my throat is swollen and sore, my muscles are achy, and I've been sleeping nonstop. My mom stopped by with some Tylenol Flu stuff and I was wondering if I should be worried about it knocking me out of ketosis? I haven't had much of an appitite and with my throat being swollen, I haven't felt like eating anything at all today.

Re: cough syrup, ketosis setback?
I am not sure if all of these are necessarily induction friendly, but these meds are the ones the ADA recommend for diabetics that won't raise your blood sugar. Hope this helps!

Re: cough syrup, ketosis setback?
People are always worrying about falling out of ketosis. Do you know how hard it is to actually do it?
A couple of teaspoons of cough syrup won't do it. Heck, two pieces of cake doesn't always do it.
Just get yourself the sugar-free from now on.
