    Wohoo!!

    I never get to start roll call
    I'm up today I blame it on Sugar Free Candy & eating late... I know better too...

    But! Today will rock.
    And tomorrow I'll be down.
    And I will reach my goal this year.

      Good Friday Morning, Fellow STACers

      We did it... we made it through the week, and are going into the weekend. Are you ready? Are you remembering that every single thing you put into your mouth, is a choice?

      Some Inspiration...

      So how about it - let's form some good habits this weekend. Let's live like doing Atkins is second nature to us... and it will be. That means being prepared, and being conscious of how, and what, we eat. I do this with gratitude, that I have found this WOE/L, and I embrace it.

        TGIF!!! Well I am doing great and feeling so good to be on track! Through this tough time I have realized that I just can't eat sugar free candy. It sets me off on all kinds of cravings...so I threw them all out and don't plan on buying them again! I have also found that bacon is a weak point for me...I just can't have 1 piece. I could eat it forever and ever. I am not down to my ticker weight yet but I know it will come! Especially when I lay off the bacon...I am sure all that sodium and TOM coming in the next couple days is making retain water.

          Good morning all. I am up today too. I blame it on too much salt and cheese. I only went over on the cheese by a teeny bit but i am learning chesse may simply be a problem food for me. And also i am not too worried. I am not up a bunch. And whenever i hit a new low i go up for a few days and then often down to a even lower low. That seems to be how i lose down 2 up 1 down 2 up 1 for 4 or 5 pounds then plateau for a month or so. So i am on track. I have to say it has been terribly cold here lately and it has put my walks on hold. I still am trying to get something in. Thighs and butt are sore from squats and lunges and still trying to figure out how to make the wheel of death work best for me. I think i lack sufficient arm strength or something to really have it work my abs the way it's supposed to. I really do need to get a fitball but have put it off because i do not know how to determine what size is best for me.

            Good morning! Yes, I will reach goal this year too! (Although I might change my goal.)

            I made Scooter Sausage this morning. I hadn't made it in a while. It makes me feel like I'm right on track and eating well.

            As you get get smaller, do you notice other people's weight more? I got my hair done last night and I've never given any thought to my stylist's weight, but last night I was looking at her with a critical eye thinking that she was a bit chunkier than i remembered. You know how some people quit smoking and instead of becoming non-smokers, they become anti-smokers? I hope I'm not becoming an anti-fat person!! Just a thought.

            My birthday is next week. My ds was assuming that we'd have birthday cake and was upset to learn that I can't eat it. I guess it's time to make a cheesecake. Last time I did Atkins, I made lots of cheesecakes, but this time I haven't made even one. I lost faster last time too! Dh bought me a great Pampered Chef springform pan with a glass bottom and I've never even tried it. Okay, cheesecake it is!

            TGIF! Work was a bear this week. Stay warm this weekend. It's supposed to be in the teens here.

              Morning!

              Today was to be BOSU class (my favorite) but kiddie #2 threw up this morning. I weighed in at 114 this morning - fine, didn't expect any big wooshies (although they would be really appreciated!)
              A little grumpy, super cold here in CO - I'm so ready for some HEAT.

                Morning everyone! Well thanks to my TOM (who is hitting me harder today which is day 2 vs yesterday) I am still at 152... and I was feeling a wooshie coming on to lower me into the 140's... but it will come

                With the snow yesterday I made some chili in the crock pot and then made snow ice cream Even made a small batch for myself last night as a treat.

                Next week I will be starting cardio more. I wanted to do it more this week but well stomach virus + TOM it just isn't going to happen.

                I have found the unsweetened soy milk! Couldn't find it the other week but found it yesterday and am very excited about it - especially since I tried the chocolate milk and it tastes like a dessert And at 1 net carb per cup - I can deal with that and the fiber is an added bonus.

                So today I need to finish cleaning some chickens (only 3 left) and then need to probably clean some of the laundry room up... at least that's what my husband would like me to do and I may just do it - who knows. OH - he built a milking stand for me yesterday!! What a nice guy Next week I pick up the goats and I should start milking them pretty quickly as they are all due within the next few weeks.

                So semi-busy day..... kids are out in the snow playing so they can burn off some energy Even my husband is playing with his tractor in the snow - LOL

                    Good Morning all. Finally its Friday! Seemed like a very long week. We got some more snow over the night, so I'll have to spend time brushing off the snow off my car. Having all the kids over for dinner tomorrow night, and planning an Atkins meal. But I'll have the potatoes, bread & dessert for them. It's step sons birthday, and they all love my Atkins cheesecake, so that will be his birthday cake too! Have a great weekend everyone!

                      I'm down 1 pound this morning, but its my TOM and it sucks, but at least i've been continuing loose during it. that made me feel better, so i'm on day 15 and i've lost 15 pounds. I'm so happy. i really don't even crave food anymore. think i may try an extended induction. my motivation is coming here, and seeing ya'lls posts and being able to update my ticker, lol - kinda sad how my ticker motivates me that much,huh

                          Sounds like everyone is really motivated.
                          Mitzi, that was a great post! Everything we do becomes a habit!

                          Well, I got through lunch with a friend and my step mom without eating one tortilla chip with salsa yesterday. Just ate my yummy chicken salad. It was delishous!!! and I was so glad I didn't cheat not even just a little... as the scale rewarded me with another lb lost... 171 today... so happy!

                          Stay legal everyone! I have to work this afternoon.... but I'm going to do a little more housework... concentrating on vacuuming the ceilings! ha! (lovely cobwebs!)

                            Spirittalker--the balls are in cm sizes, based on height.

                            GENERAL GUIDELINES:

                            Your HeightBall Size (max. height/diameter)
                            less than 5' 0" 45 cm (18 in.) read before ordering
                            5' 0" to 5' 5" 55 cm (22 in.) read before ordering
                            5' 6"- 6' 1" 65 cm (26 in.)
                            6' 2" - 6' 8" 75 cm (30 in.)
                            6' 9" and up 85 cm (34 in.)

                            Note: Only the Fitness Ball is available in 45cm & 85cm sizes
                            A LARGER BALL MAY BE NEEDED IF YOU:
                            have long legs for your height

                            I'm feeling good today, despite TOM! My size 7/8 jeans are looser, and lookin' pretty darn good. I'm so glad it's Friday...it's been a long week, and all of us at school are ready for the weekend. I'm excited to plan my Pump It Up class for tomorrow--I think I'm going to do another circuit class, but this time using heavier weights/fewer reps.

                              Good morning! Wow - sounds like everyone is motivated today! The snow is already melting and the sun is very bright. It will probably all be gone by the end of the day. Today is a teacher workday and we came in two hours late. I have lots of paperwork to get done!

                              Our weekly weigh-in club was moved from Tuesdays to Thursdays - but then we were out of school yesterday, so I don't know what I weigh. That's probably not a bad thing. I'll just keep on keeping on and weigh in next week.
