  • MP3 Player Deal

Ok - I was in the market so when I got this email this morning I was excited because I couldn't afford this one new. $90+ is out of my range - but I could handle getting a refurbished one for $30!!

I have "rules" for what I wanted... an easy to read screen, compatible with the library so I can feed my book addiction (iPod is NOT!), and within my price range - LOL

It was actually emailed to me through a homeschool thing but works for anyone

So if you are in the market.... check it out... I do NOT get anything from this at all but a new one shipped to me in about a week

    http://www.buy.com/prod/sandisk-sans...205562657.html

I saw it on amazon for $90 or so..... and if you use google checkout for the 1st time you get $10 off the current $39 price - so it ends up being $29....

I have almost that exact one but mine is 8GB. I got mine though Best Buy and I belong to Rhapsody. I LOVE it!! So much so that I bought one for dh and ds.
If you're looking for accessories, they're way cheaper online, maybe ebay, than in the stores that I checked.

I love Buy.com....I would not recommend this MP3 player though. I have went through 3 of them and they all ended up freezing a lot and most of the time not working. I took the third one back and switched to a different brand. Sorry, just my experience.

Why not get a cheaper ipod off ebay?

If you belong to a music service such as Rhapsody or Napster the iPod is NOT compatible. There are very good music players out there that work with "to go" services and cost MUCH less than the iPods as well. I just got a Creative Zen, which comes with an SD expansion slot, so I can store videos or music on different cards as well as on my player.

Our library system is not compatible with iPods at all and I am personally a book junkie and download as many books as I am allowed - LOL. Especially since I hook it up to my car and drive listening to books when the kids aren't in the car.

My step father has this one and hasn't had a problem with it.... so I'm not sure but I'm willing to try it out

Yea, I had to "rip" all of my CDs to MP3s in order to transfer them to my player. If anybody needs help doing this let me know and I would be more then happy to help. Just saying that there is always a way around something that you are "not" suppose to do.
