    Good morning! Happy February!

    Wow, it's really raining hard, here. We were kind of hoping for a 2 hour delay, since we had some freezing rain last night, but no joy. Oh well. At least it's Friday!

    Hope everyone has a good day today! It might snow here tonight so I am excited! I know it's not exciting for those of you who live in places where it snows a lot! I'm happy that it is supposed to come on Friday evening so I don't have to brave public transport trying to get to work in the snow in the morning!

    I'm feeling much less sick today so I will probably start on solid foods again. Haven't exercised in days though...my today goal will be to take a little walk to try and work myself up to proper exercise again.

      I forgot! I buckled my belt this morning on the third notch in, a month ago (yes, I've been cheat free for a month now!) I had to buckle it on the first notch and that was uncomfortable! Hoorah!

        Good morning. Yea on the belt! My pants are getting looser too. Yea!
        Rain, snow, freezing rain. I think we're supposed to get it all today. At least last night wasn't too bad so the drive to work today shouldn't be any scarier than usual.

        Dh made low carb pizza last night. The crust was mostly cheese. I think he would have liked it better if he hadn't made it himself and seen how much cheese really went into it! It was my first pizza (other than toppings) in almost a year and I loved it!

        Seems like just yesterday I was saying how glad I was that it's the weekend. This week just blew by.

        Be good and stay safe.

          Well, we got your 2 hr delay Cheribaby! I got 20 mins in on the recumbent, got my good food and water packed for work and am out the door! Breakfast is gonna be bacon/cheddar quiche that I made a couple days ago-eatin' on the run-BUT at least I started my day off right with my exercise! Want to bump up to 30 mins tonight since I didnt have time this morning! Off to drop the kids at the sitter since schools delay! Oh and my tummy seems to be doing better too! Thank goodness!

              we had snow on the ground this mornig, not much and it'll probably be gone in a few hrs. but ..

              i reached my 2nd mini goal today, wooooohoooooo....

              and i'm going shopping for new digital scales lol hope they say the same thing as my current ones, lol

                Morning everyone!

                We have ice.... it's raining - but it's hanging onto the trees as ice. I SOOOO don't want to go outside!

                I'll be baking bread all day today - made a loaf last night that my husband needed to "taste test"....and made 3 loaves of chocolate zucchini bread which I wouldn't allow them to touch Oh - and 5 dozen cookies. Luckily all this stuff goes away tomorrow at the market.

                No weight change - and I think I need to new scale but don't want to buy one right now. Mine is a cheap $20 one which has worked fine for years but now I don't get the same weight 3 times in a row anymore. I'll see if it changes anytime.... but still

                  Morning, all.

                  Had a great and long workout last night, followed by the rewards: 10 min in jacuzzi and 8 min in sauna. I felt so completely relaxed..........ahhhhhh!

                  Slept well, and woke up to find that it's FRIDAY! YAY! It's going to be a good day.

                  I have a nice lunch (mostly veggies, with cheese) and a couple of bottles of water, my size 14 jeans fit for the first time since the early fall of 2005, and the weekend is coming! How much better can life get?

                  Oh, well, it would be better if yesterday was payday.......Oh, wait.....It WAS! Ok, now life is perfect.

                    Good morning everyone.

                    It's a new day - and I feel great.

                    I've eaten breakfast - 4 saus patties, 2 slices brick mozz chz, coffee, 16 oz water.

                    I cooked last night for my lunch today - Cooked Ground Round Beef with seasonings, and veggie stir fry (onions, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower)

                    Not sure about dinner yet, but I went shopping last night and got plenty of eggs, meat and cheese.

                      Another cold day here...but despite the weather I have a whole bunch of errands to do tonight (including grocery shopping). I have been working like crazy and and so happy the weekend is close. I'm also hoping I'll be in the 170's by Monday!

                        We DEFINITELY should have gotten the delay. Ice all over the trees and vehicles. The roads weren't bad, but the maintenance staff at school had not gotten to the sidewalks or parking lots yet and everything is so slippery! One of our teachers fell in the parking lot. My van slid into it's space. Jeez...

                        Congratulations to all the losers!

                          Reading all your posts makes me appreciate Florida this morning!

                          I'm here and on plan. I've been pushing my limits lately with some processed meats and cheese and nuts (via larabars during the race the other day) and diet soda this week. The scales are showing it as I'm retaining water like mad.

                          It's time to "clean it up". No processed anything for me today. No soda. No deli meats no matter how convenient and no dairy products.

                          I'm going to go to spin class today at lunch time. I'm ready to get my blood pumping!

                          My core is pretty sore from the power yoga the other day. I LOVE IT!

                            Happy Friday All! I am glad to finally be in February. I'm only slightly down today. I haven't lost anything in three days. I'm not cheating and doing everthing right. I know the weight will keep coming off but - boo hoo . Really, I'm not worried . This weekend is BIG for me. I measure myself in the morning for the first time in years. I will take a picture . The jump rope challenge begins today as well as the sit up challenge. I am ready for both. I'm also going to use the Slim in 6 videos beginning today. So, if all goes well, February should be a great month. I may be incredibly sore but as the saying goes "no pain, no gain - or in this case - no loss". I have only 5 pounds to go to reach my February goal so I'm stoked about that.

                            I have 51 days until my first big goal day - Easter!

                            You all continue to amaze and inspire me! Have a super fabulous Aktins weekend!

                              Maxine.. I did the same thing - no loss, no loss.. then wham! It just showed on the scale. Now I try to think of the scale as a gauge.. You are really no ONE weight. It varies from day to day due to hormones, water retention, what you ate, how active you were, medications, etc. So don't fret when the scale doesn't move. If you are doing it right it will show in clothes, reflection in the mirror.. and tape measure. For me, the scale goes up 2 pounds, down 1, up 1, down 2, down 1 up 1, down 3.. I"m all over LOL I'm just glad to see it moving down

                              Speaking of.. I'm down 14 pounds!! I had prepared myself for the post induction stall..but I musta worked through that. Whoohoo. I can sure tell it on my tummy - no more jutting out! My face.. MY FEET! 14 down and much more to go.. but I'm doing it!
