    Good morning STACers....I am up and moving....I feel better today and have such a huge weekend....
    I have fallen in love with cabbage! I heat some up for breakfast and chop bacon on top of it, or lunch, and add ground beef and onion to it....tonight I am making a pizza soup, and when everyone else is loading pasta in their soup, I'll dump cabbage in mine....
    My husband does not like cabbage and He just looks at me so weirdly....Like, wow you LIIIIKE THAT????

    Good Morning Stacers!

    I'm trying to work my way out of the winter blues. Today I'm spending time in my sewing room working on a quilt as this makes me very happy!

    Food/H20 are okay...exercise is an issue.

    Have a wonderful low carb day & have some fun!

      Jess, your mention of cabbage made me smile. I go on "kicks" with veggies... meaning, I'll get stuck on one, and have it for days in a row, before moving on to another. Right now, it's cabbage. Gosh, I love that stuff. Used to turn my nose up at it. Now, every time I make bacon for something, I've GOT to use the drippings for my cabbage. Yummy.

      Glenda, I hope that you have a great quilting day, and chase away those winter blues. You have been in my thoughts lately... I hope that your job situation improves. I have a great respect and admiration for nurses.

      Ugh - I've been a very naughty girl for the past few days. My nut addiction kicked in with full force, and I succumbed. Today is "get real" day, and I have to take a stand with myself. At this stage of the game, I really should know better.

      2nd Ugh - I have NOT made a concentrated effort to get consistent with exercise again. I was so good, for so long... it is just extremely easy to slip into bad habits, once a pattern is broken.

      OK, have lots to do today. Everyone have a good day!

        hi girls!!

        jess, i also LOVE cabbage. although lately my 'kick' is for sauerkraut.... can you pm me some ways to make cabbage? i am remedial in the kitchen. glad you're feeling better!!

        glenda, hi!! i wish i knew how to quilt, it looks so peaceful and beautiful! enjoy your day.

        mitzi, oh no on the nuts! but good for you for nipping it in the bud now. and as far as exercise, maybe you can try forcing yourself for 7 days or so until it becomes a habit? there is some rule about if you do something for ____ days it becomes a habit, or some such nonsense. but i think it works!!

        i am volunteering at the FBR open today, where there will be a number of celebrities who are in town for the BIG GAME, so i am looking forward to that!!! still waiting to find out if BF and i got tickets into the Superbowl, but won't know until tomorrow.

          Hello, still sturggling to find the line..........the minute I hit ketosis my hair starts falling out. I waited and took extra vits but it did not quit after months......so looking for the carb line. in the meantime gained half back that I lost because of serious issues with carbs and triggers for sugar. I was a very slow loser because my carbs had to be under 20 to lose. I am so proud to see people in here with conviction. At least I only gained 1/2 back, could be worse. Just wanted to say hello, and let ya know I did not fall off the face of the planet. just trying to go low carb instead of lose weight carb. its not as easy as it sounds hehe.

            reporting in.....saturday february 2nd just came home from the gym where i did 50 minutes of cardio calisthenics w/135 sitps and then i did 30 more minutes on a treadmill

            patriots 38 - giants 20.....thats my prediction!!

              Morning all!!

              Woke this morn to 112.5. Okie dokie My pal and I went shopping last night for some more clothes for the gym. We had a nice time, stopped for coffee, etc... Still seemed a little off, but I'm sure it will pass.

              Today is my date day with my 2 year old. It's snowing and super cold today, so outside activities are a no-no. I have no idea what I am going to do with him. Any ideas?

              I am glad my biggest loser competition is over. I feel such peace. I really was freaking out for a while - driving harder, pushing more - it sucked. Now, all is well in the casa del colleenieweenie.

              *Jess - Glad you're feeling better! I'm a Polak, all we eat if cabbage! Love it, love it!

              *Glenda - I've always wanted to learn how to quilt. Seems like it would be theraputic.

              *Mitzi - Nuts are my downfall also. Do you have issue eating too much, or your body going crazy when you eat a serving size? I limit to 1/4 cup and I still need to cut them out sometimes - love 'em though- dangit

              *Party - how exciting! The possibility of going to see the Superbowl - awesome! I don't watch football (except when I watch my oldest play), but would be stoked to go to SB!!

              *Speedy - I've had friends who have had hair issues while on LC. I'm sorry you're having them. Kudos for you though - for trying to find a way to make LC work for you. You can do it!

              *Chris - Great job on the exercise! That's a lot of flipping sit-ups - you rock!

                Glad to be here today and checking in with all of you! Not too much planned for today, some more property shopping, library and light house cleaning.

                  I had an early chiropractor appt followed by coffee with dd and then got my hair colored (re-touched). Now I'm home and making lunch to take in to the bedroom to eat with dh, who is having a lazy day until he goes to work at 4:30.

                  Scale is back down to 198.5, so I assume TOM is about to arrive. Certainly, I've got the sick headache that usually precedes it these days.....HURRY!

                  Going for a good workout later with dd, but now I'm going to go enjoy a book!

                    Glad everyone is doing well today! Outback Jess, I'm glad you are feeling better!

                    I went to the cinema today and took celery sticks to snack on! I never ever thought I would bring veggies to a movie, I'm a changed woman! I also made some snacks and breakfasts to put in the fridge for later in the week. Planning is everything right?

                      hello all!

                      I'm having a good morning so far. Got some good sleep and took a much needed shower. Now I'm just waiting for my breakfast quiche to be done so I can eat!

                      I also signed up for some excercise challenges - I'm excited about doing this. I thrive on challenges

                        HI all. Feeling better today. Roasted some jalapeno's for tomorrow, making poppers with cream cheese and bacon as my contribution to the bowl festivities. Scale said 197.4 today, TOM is due so i am assuming that is why i am up but i feel good. Not too puffy or fat. This entire week i have not see the 170's and that is a first for a few months. It feels good to finally be solidly in the 160's.

                            Hello. A little late today. Spent the day doing errands. Made tuna casserole and broccoli salad for dinner.
                            Big news...down 2lbs!!! Yea! I'm now officially down 60lbs from my high weight.

                              Morning everyone!

                              Glad you are up and about Jess!

                              Well I swear I will not make anymore "legal" cookies no matter what. I am on a binge of them and they need to go. I'm ok with the binge in a way but I am craving other stuff so I am sending the rest of the cookies to work with my husband.

                              I think I'll make a tofu stir fry for lunch (all this talk of cabbage made me think of my coleslaw mix still out there) and just load up on that and make some wings later on this afternoon/evening.
