    Right on, Mitzi - love it!

    Woke up a little late this morning - 6:30. Hubby had to run and open the laundromat and then go serve breakfast after mass this morn. So I had to take the Children of the Corn to go on my usual Sunday morning shopping excursion - OMG - that won't happen again

    Weighed in at 112. Yesterday I bought some unsweetened almond milk and put it in my coffee this morn -it was OK. I also bought some Shiritaki noodles - that should be exciting.

    I've taken the last two days off from the gym - to help clear my mind and just let my body rest a bit. I'm deciding if I want to go in today. I should, but... OK, I will...

      Good morning, all.

      TOM finally arrived in the middle of the night. Scale is up from yesterday, but we all know that it's not real.

      What IS real are my measurements. They took them at the gym on 1/4, and I took them again today. I've lost 15.14 inches in just one month! And it's from all over - calves, thighs, biceps, waist, hips, shoulders. A very even loss. I'm totally jazzed.

      Today I'm going to the gym for a good, long workout, then coming home to work on my university classwork. Trying to get several hours in each weekend day, so I don't have to do much on weekday nights. So far, it's working, and I still have time to do the usual routine on Sat. and Sun.

      Dh will be working during the game, but they'll have the tv on. Since I am about as interested in football as I am in performing a lobotomy on myself with a spatula, I will have the news or hgtv on. <grin>

        good morning,
        sorry I didn't check in yesterday, I went off to SD to get my hair done at the Paul Mitchell School... they did a great job again... it just takes ALL DAY! but it's so fun... they know me there now... the instructor was like 'oh, HI!!!' and I saw the first girl who cut my hair and got her # because she did a good job too... and the girl that did it yest is graduating... anyways... they all just too cute there with all their cute hair cuts and colors living out there on the edge...

        ANYWAYS, then I went over to my dd's store and bought some dance shoes and also to Trader Joes and then came home and cooked up some low carb lazagne and a califlower (macafoni and cheese) then my dd and I went to a free dance concert at the high school and then home again for cleaning up the kitchen and actually getting to eat the casserole and then bed... busy day!

        I am religiously doing my neck exercise which is alternativly making my ears pop and my neck hurt and then feel better... (very weird) definately gaining strength in those muscles.... I have a new theory now about my neck.... having lost about 50 lbs I think I have been sticking it out there to counter balance the wt and never changed that even after I lost wt... and that could be a factor as well as being jerked around by that dog/my dog (remember back in dec) anyways, so NOW these exercises are telling the muscles which way they are supposed to go and they are so NOT used to it they don't like it very much but eventually they will like it because it's how they're supposed to be... does that make sense???? sorry to go on and on... anyways, I am seeing progress... onward.

        Have a great day everyone, I have a girlfriend coming over to scrapbook the boys album during the super bowl which apparently noone is excited about since they don't like the 2 teams involved... however I'm sure it will be on ... I've got a pot of chili brewing in the crock pot.

          Hi all. I am up this morning to 169. Expected TOM but nothing. So i am a lil dissappointed because i really want to see that scale budge again soon. I feel like it wants to. Like my body is so ready to let go of a few pounds to do this same dance into the 150's. Seems like it's ready to. But this water i am hanging on to is frustrating. BF and i are sorta fighting this morning because i would not cook breakfast because i woke up and the kitchen was trashed. So i cleaned it and said if i have to bring home the bacon AND fry it up, then i sure as **** should not have to clean up after. Well now he's mad because he likes his sunday morning breakfast. And i am mad because he is mad. *sigh* PMS is a real PITA. TOM just come already!

            morning yall!! went to a kid rock party last night, saw him play. he is not among my favorites, but it was super fun anyway!! my bf got a tix to the superbowl, and there is still a chance there might be one more for me....dropping him off at the stadium now.

              Hi All,
              I am back and on my third week of induction. I have a lot to lose, unfortunately gained it all back from when I lost 4 years ago, so will be on induction for a while. I did it before, and will do it again, but this time is much slower.
              Have been very good, but the weight is not moving. I have a thyroid problem and have been taking medication for almost 20 years. I know what I have to do and I need to stay with it even if I don't lose for a while. I am trying to get all the water in.
              I have been religious about exercising. Working out 2 days a week with a trainer for weights and doing cardio every day. When I started back, I did 20 minutes cardio and that was hard since I am carrying so much extra weight. Been on for 18 days and now doing 30 minutes cardio. I taped all the biggest loser shows in the fall and now have been watching them while doing the cardio. Very inspirational to see. I am not caught up yet as I don't let myself watch unless working out. I am fortunate enough to have a good elliptical machine at home-one of the best investments I ever made since I have a bad knee and it is one of the only exercises I can do for any decent length of time. Sorry to babble on, but just letting you know my background.

              I look forward to gettting to know all of you and reconnect with those I knew before.

                Well im in no better frame of mind today, than I was yesterday, but have not caved into comfort eating, so thats a good thing. Roll on tomorrow.

                  Had a great workout this morning! Am having a great ATkins kind of day!

                  Will be heading to a superbowl party and I am taking a broccoli/cauliflower salad which is safe. I will eat only that if I have too.............I am not going for the carb laden dishes.......I'm not, I'm not, I'm not!!

                  I will eat a little something at home before I go, to stay in control!

                  Thats my story and I am sticking to it!

                    Hello everyone!! It's been a wonderful morning so far, woke up to find that I had dropped to 206!! I can see onederland just over the horizon and it looks good!!

                    Bf and I just got back home from hanging out with my mom. It was nice spending time with her

                        Went for a long walk along the canals today because the sun was shining (even though it was still cold!). I'll be happy for Spring to come so I can be outside more.

                        I'm proud of myself today for making little quiches for my breakfasts this week. Breakfast is the hardest meal for me to get in because I'm always in a hurry in the mornings so this will make it a lot easier! I had some left over cream of mushroom soup that I made last week and I ended up just throwing it in the quiche mix. It tastes great! This WOE has me experimenting so much more in the kitchen and it is great fun even when the dishes don't turn out as well as the quiche!

                          Mushroom soup sounds good - I would love to have your recipe. I made the mini quiches last week, but ran out of time this weekend. You are right - it makes breakfast easier - will have to stick with my old standby when in a rush in the morning - 2 hard boiled eggs with salt and pepper and a little cream cheese.
