    Wow, party, that's amazing! I can't believe we are the only two so far! I just can't get on the computer, usually, until I'm at school.

    Well, down another 0.5 lb, but not changing anything yet. Will wait for the official weigh in on Thursday.

    The sun is out here - YAY! Until tomorrow, anyway.

        I'm here for a short time-just to check in. Storms/tornado warnings here for the day. Only turned the computer on long enough to check my calendar for the time for my dentist appt. Couldn't remember if it was 930 or 1030, well its 0900 so I am running behind already! Gotta run! Can't be on the puter with all this lightning so I'm planning on getting in a lot of time on my recumbent to make up for lost time Sun and Mon!!!

          Not for the group or the board, just for me. It's for a weigh in group here at our school. But, I also weigh in on Mondays for the "New You" group here on the challenges board. I think I'm trying to confuse myself!

          You can weigh in whenever you choose. A lot of people don't weigh in at all because they feel they get obsessed with it. Also, you can easily lose inches and not weight with this WOE, so you don't want to get caught up in pounds and kilos! But many people feel like it makes them accountable, too. It's all up to you.

                Good morning all - I'm having a great Atkins day! Not much weight lost in about a week - only a pound. I'm not cheating and being pretty strict. I'm in ketosis and I know I'm losing inches, but I was looking for a little "downward" movement this morning. I'm not going to fret. It will work out.

                      Well - I am still up in weight but I'm ok. Just slowly getting rid of it. I'm eating a TON of salad which my body at least likes I'm making some spinach/tomato/pepper/cheese burgers for lunch today to satisfy a craving I have.

                      I'm also having fun downloading books from the library to listen to. The new MP3 player I got had a problem with syncing stuff so it's on it's way back for a replacement. But they did send me a 4 GIG one instead of 2 gig... just don't know what to do with all that space!

                      I made Linda's BBQ Brisket last night and loved it. Don't think my kids liked it that much but that's their loss. As a kid I wasn't a big BBQ Brisket fan either. Have to figure out tonight's dinner though since my husband won't be eating with us. I might make the kids a pizza that way my husband can have left-overs before he heads off to work tonight.

                      Well I'm off. Sooooo much to do (I hate paperwork) and annoying kids.

                        Morning all!

                        I was not able to make it to hot yoga last night - bummer!! one of my husbands employees was sick and he had to stay late to cover... I am hoping that today I can swing it! Gotta take advantage of as many free sessions as I can!

                        I also have a consult with a plastic surgeon today. I've had 3 kids, my 1st was 9lbs 10oz, 2nd was 8lbs (a month early) and the last one was my peanut, 6lbs 4oz. Together, they have jacked up my tummy area and I want a tummy tuck & some lipo. We'll see what he tells me!

                        I'm up 1.5 from my low - I'm guessing it's from the beer I had on Sunday? No worries. I've actually thought about hiding the scale and seeing how long I can go before I cave.

                        I'm also going to try a new supplement 5-HTP. Has anyone tried this or heard about it - if so, I'd love to hear more

                          Hey all!

                          It's still cold here, -1 this morning, but it's supposed to warm up. I had a good time at the gym last night, and I feel lean and mean this morning. Tonight I'm doing lower body strength training, and maybe a bit of running.

                            Hi Colleen I started a thread in vitanutrients for 5htp, i too bought it and tried it. I had to stop taking it...though it did help me sleep at the beginning (was having insomnia issues) it actually started to help too much. I could NOT get out of bed in the morning. I stopped taking it, I couldn't function, and i didn't find there were any other benefits after i'd been taking it for a while.                             I'm still doing well..no real cheats...drank too much superbowl sunday so that has me a bit bloated. My new treadmill is supposed to arrive tomorrow for pickup, looking forward to that..though i will need to make room for it!

                            it's really warm here today, about 44deg. but apparently there's another storm on the way, just finished shovelling out from fridays foot of very heavy snow, now it's all melting, and more is ont he way. what bizarre weather!

                              Been an okay day, so far. I'm working on getting some people together to create a team for a new comic book I'm putting out. Should be fun! It's definitely encouraging me to stay on the plan, because this Saturday is the Battle of the Bands and I wanna look super hot!!
