    Re: Hi everyone..

My advice is to get rid of aaaaall the bad food in your house and stock up on legal foods. That way when you get a craving, you won't be able to satisfy it.

      Welcome back!

First thing to get you started is to re-read DANDR. It's the most important tool you can have and it will give you the chance to make this work!

Stock up on atkins friendly foods and get rid of the carb junk - you wont need it anymore

Make sure you are drinking your water, taking vitamins, and getting excercise!

If you have any questions ask! This board is made up of a wonderful group of people and I just cant get enough of them

          Re: Hi everyone..

          Welcome back!

Everytime I started back on Atkins after a hiatus (usually pregnancy ), it was tougher. This time, I haven't had as much weight to lose and it has taken me much longer to get it off. It's worth it though - even when I want to bawl, because the scale isn't behaving itself. Gotta have some kick-a$$ willpower.
Best of luck to you on your journey!! You can totally do this

            Re: Hi everyone..

Thank you every one for the kind words, I know I can do this and I love this board its nice to have other people to talk to that understand this way of eating and know its GOOD for you so many people tell me you DONT want to do the Atkins its so bad for you, blah blah blah... No whats bad for me is eating junk and getting fat and dying young. They dont seem to understand some peoples bodies dont respond well to carbs and I am one of them.

Anyway thanks again, I need to go find my Atkins book some where but have the right food. I got really sick a few weeks ago eating some bad lamb and havent eaten red meat since I just do chicken and some fish so this will make for a challange to find things to eat.
